St Peter Food Co-op & Deli

We are so lucky to have this local gem in St Peter! The deli is my go-to for lunch - I highly recommend the grilled chicken schwarma!

Excellent food, this is a great spot for lunch. I like the selection of locally grown and sourced items. The staff is friendly.

I was passing through and looking for something quick to eat that wasn’t drive thru food. Found this gem! Their deli is amazing! I got a delicious sandwich. I also grabbed some pre-made food for the week because they looked delicious including pasta and chicken salads, chicken alfredo, and chicken enchiladas. They’ve been amazing thus far. I will definitely be stopping when I come through in the future ☺ Wish I lived closer!!!

High vibration place. Young and old, there was pep in their step and a light in their eyes.

I love coming here. For something special or just ordinary ingredients. Also the lunch food is very good.

What a blessing to have a grocery store that you can feel good about everything you pull off the shelf! Clean, organic, and local. Super friendly staff that appears to really enjoy their job. Probably because they eat the healthy food they sell! It just feels good doing business here.

Great food selection, bright and clean seating area. It’s basically akin to a fancy grocery store’s salad bar/deli/kitchen. My team and I loved it!

For a small store, they have an amazing selection of food and specialty items. It is also really nice to see all the local items that they stock. Looking forward to going back.

It is very nice there. I ate a delicious hot sandwich prepared in their kitchen and a pasta salad from the premade packages food cooler.

I also was looking for a facial serum to replace the one I used that is no longer being made. Carissa helped me find one that will work for me, and took the time to show me other products in that aisle that I think I might go back to purchase at some point. I wasn't there for them, but she is also very knowledgeable about vitamin supplements.

Love going here, the food for me has always been superb , be it desert's or sandwiches or burritos breakfast or lunch/supper. They have a wide variety of very good quality items. Will definitely keep returning here! :)

They have the best deli of any food co-op I've ever been to in mn. Their Chimayo sandwich, pronounced chee-mā-yo is my personal favorite

Best place to go in St. Peter! It does have that Whole Foods vibe to it, but I personally like this place better. Lots of great options for food and drink all throughout the store. I particularly like the salad bar and kitchen area where you can get sandwiches, wraps, burritos, or burrito bowls made fresh. My wife and I always enjoy eating lunch here. We even got it for lunch on our Wedding Day so that should hopefully show how good it is!

The smell is heavenly when you walk in the door. Organic foods, produce, and everything from soup to nuts. On site deli and wonderful sandwiches. Fresh bread and home made cookies. All natural and sourced locally. Farm fresh eggs from local growers. Grass fed beef. Reasonable prices! I love this store!

Excellent shop for variety of organic and unique foods. They also have a small Cafe with sandwiches made to order. I greatly appreciate their supplement and vitamin section

The employees are so kind and they have a great selection to choose from. My favorite is the deli and bakery items they are perfect for a quick lunch/breakfast!

I love this place. My daughter turned us on to it as a Gustie. Now we stop in for food any time we are traveling yo to the Twin Cities. Great range of excellent hot food and coffee to go or sit down.

Very nice find in rural Minnesota! The lovely town of St. Peter boasts many hidden treasures. Amongst my personal favorites is the Co-op. It’s a wonderful stop to grab a high quality snack or meal at the deli. You’ll find ample seating in a cleanly atmosphere should you desire to meet a friend for a creative and delicious lunch date. The market is the draw for visitors and St. Peter residents alike. You’ll find a wide range of fresh organic, vegan and speciality foods. Favorite items from my last shopping haul include: a beautiful fruit/ shopping basket made in Africa, slices of glycerin soap containing fragrant coffee beans, a handmade greeting card and gourmet chocolate bars that I heard were devine! I really enjoy the cosmetic section of mineral based products, produce that often appears “cherry picked” and gluten free baked goods. Service is consistently pleasant, pricing is a little steep on some items, hours are user friendly and the Co-op is a bus stop for Land-to-Air express travelers (going to and from Mankato, Shakopee, Mall of America and DT Minneapolis). Enjoy!
