I have been coming to St Croix River Resort off and on for 40 years. My friends have a membership here. Everyone likes this place. It is clean and neat, tucked into the beautiful Pine tree forest, along with an indoor swimming pool, store, and great service.

The grounds, bathrooms, showers, and common spaces were pristine! The staff were very courteous and professional. A quiet campground worth every penny!

My husband and I toured this resort to check it out for a possible stay for us or family at a later time. The employee who showed us around was very friendly and helpful. The model cabin we were shown was very nice and the screened in porch would be great for buggy evenings. Nice amenities and convenience store. The RV and tent camp sites were shaded and spaced out for privacy.

We stayed in our camper. It was so quiet and the fall colors were amazing.

Just spent my second stay for the second year!! Whether you stay in one of their ~spacious~ and fully equipped cabins, tow in a camper or pitch a tent -- there's really no bad spot or place to stay at the resort. Head toward the back for a bit more quiet and privacy or toward the front for an easy walk to the pool, volleyball net, convenience store or community room!! Very bicycle, motorized bike, four-wheeler, golf cart, etc. friendly. THE BEST ATV TRAIL is JUST down the road. So much fun to be had at your next stay with St. Croix River Resort.

It is nice to camp in a family and pet friendly campground. The activities are fun and get to know other campers

Great first stay of the 2022 camping season under the TRA ownership. The staff at the clubhouse were friendly and accommodating. We were bummed to find out that they do not offer bikes anymore due to the many repairs made during last year's season. Wish they could figure out a system to still be able to get firewood after hours like at Hidden Bluffs and Rushmore Shadows.

Wonderful sites, whether you're tent camping or RV'ing. Great indoor pool and very clean showers and bathrooms. We are pleased with all the Midwest Outdoors campgrounds.
Midwest Outdoors ISN'T a time share, like some of the negative reviews state. We paid for the membership and now we get to camp at these wonderfully put together campgrounds for free for the rest of our lives, and so do our children - for the rest of their lives! One of their campgrounds is at Mount Rushmore, and to camp there for free is absolutely amazing! This may not be for everyone, but we feel it's definitely worth the cost of membership!

We stayed at St.Croix River Resort for the first time this last weekend. It was a fantastic experience. My kids loved the pool, play area and the friends they met. Our campsite was shaded and secluded. The resort was clean and the staff was helpful. We have already scheduled a trip for next month with Midwest Outdoors. We will plan on returning to this resort every summer.

There are a variety of campsites and most of them have decent space with at least some privacy. There are even full hookup spots that are nestled back in the trees. Staff are friendly, and the state park is a 10-minute drive with lots of hiking and a beach. There's also an indoor swimming pool for kids which seems to be getting fixed up to look even nicer. Office hours are limited, so make sure you roll in early enough to get whatever supplies you may need from the store. It's a nice campground and the people are friendly.

Have been members for two years and love the family atmosphere! The activities for the children helps to keep my for year old busy! Free coffee at the club house is always a perk (no pun intended). And is even a great, quite get away with the private tent sites. The canoe trip was amazing and took close to 5 hours to complete.

Despite 4 inches of rain yesterday the camp ground is meticulously cared for. The morning after they were out regrading the roads. They are redoing the showers house and even if they left it as it is right now it would be better than most shower houses I have been to. Awesome layout for camp sites with a lot of trees and privacy.

We had an awesome weekend camping! The pool was broken, which was a bummer, but it sounds like staff has been working hard to repair. They put out water games on this hot day and the kids (and adults) had a blast. We LOVE the huge and private sites. We will be back!

Great, family friendly place. They have a playground, games and movies for rent (free rental) and the sites are awesome. You feel like your actually in the woods. The resort is close to many lakes and the river for fishing and near many atv trails that are very well kept up. Most of all. they have very friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic resort. We love coming here it's close to our home so that's a plus. but aside from that the campground is clean very well set up like a traditional campground rather than an RV park. Lots of secluded sites and wooded sites.

Great activities for the kids and an indoor pool.

We joined Midwest Outdoors early last year after buying our new camper. We had a wonderful tour with Karen and ended up purchasing the Lifetime membership for our family. We visited all of the 4 MOR sites including Rushmore Shadows last fall, which was amazing - what a location! Our favorite MN location is Hidden Bluffs because of the natural beauty of the trout stream, hiking, and breathtaking views. Thanks for everyone for being so friendly as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon in 2021! Thanks MOR!

The cleanest, most well-kept campground we've visited. It was quiet, our neighbors were super friendly & the staff was very helpful. We'll definitely be coming back with friends!😎😉

Signed up to win an ATV and had to listen to the sales pitch. Absolutely no high pressure pitch what-so-ever. She stated the facts (which are problems that I've run into while trying to make a reservation at a state run campground). I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't win the ATV but I learned mord information that day. Sales staff was super nice and very helpful in our decision making process.
