I honestly cannot say enough about this great lodge. It has so many rooms and the dining room area is huge. A great place to gather and play games or just have a nice meal with everyone. It's a perfect place for a bachelorette party girls weekend bachelor weekends, family reunion scrapbooking you name it. It's got so many places to sleep. Very clean and the owners are super the property itself is awesome, nice pond and you get to see such wildlife between the deer and the birds and the hummingbirds. It's amazing. Highly highly recommend

My wife and I stayed here last weekend and were pleased to have received this present for a certificate to stay at Woodland Trails. I highly recommend checking out this place for some peace and tranquility. It was so great to have a night away without technology and instead soak up the conversation of the wonderful Inn Keepers Sandra and John. We didn't take advantage of exploring the trails but I definitely will next time. The rooms are very spacious and the beds very comfortable. If you are on the fence feel confident you will have a perfect relaxing getaway. Thanks again!!

My wife and I went to Woodland Trails on February 26 for a get-a-way. It is by far the nicest bed and breakfast we have ever been at. The guests hosts, Dan and Kathy, greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. The house and property are so relaxing. We stayed in the Winterberry Room and we loved it. We enjoyed looking through the window and watching the deer and birds eating. The breakfast was great. What a wonderful treat. We can't wait to return.

My wife and I decided to try staying at a B&B for a getaway weekend. We chose Woodland Trails and boy, were we pleased. This place is an oasis in the middle of the north woods with plenty of wildlife activity to keep you entertained. I liked the lodge atmosphere and my wife was impressed with Sandra's tasteful decorating. During the day we enjoyed riding a golf cart over what seemed like an endless amount of trails. At night, we enjoyed watching the woodland creatures feeding at the corn feeders near the B&B. We are happy to have found Woodland Trails and will be back!

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Woodland Trails. It's a beautiful property owned by a lovely couple. Our room was spacious and John and Sandy are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the trails, the pond, the wildlife, and the delicious meals. Many little "extras". We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B!

By far the best B&B we've ever been to (and we've had many good experiences). This place is a bit off the beaten path, and features a large property with many trails to walk or you traverse via golf cart. There are numerous other amenities, but one noteworthy point is that our inn-sitters, Todd and Doreen, are great conversationalists and make for good company during the wine and cheese hour. This is an excellent place to stay for a relaxing weekend, and we will certainly be back soon!

My hubby and I have been to Woodtrails 6 times. We don't usually go to the same place twice but as you can see Woodland Trails is the exception because it truly is absolutely perfect! We go their regularly for our wedding anniversary and have stayed in most of the beautiful rooms. Each room is impeccable with attention to every detail. The property is GORGEOUS! We hike,do fires, paddle boat on the lake, campfire, gps the trails and treasure hunt in the B and B. The casino is fun to check out, the food at the B and B delicious and dining in Siren is inviting and yummy! Best of all though is John, Sandra and their dogs Lucky and Lady. Their hospitality and warm personalities are the icing on an already beautiful cake!

Beautiful setting nestled in the woods. My wife and I loved the little veranda off our bedroom and all the birds to watch. John and Sandy are excellent inn keepers and so hospitable. Great place to visit. We will be back!

We just got home from our third stay at Woodland Trails. We received each stay as a gift certificate for Christmas. We have stayed in three of the four second level rooms. Each were very comfortable and inviting. The breakfasts are wonderful. All three courses. We also enjoyed the time visiting with hosts, John and Sandy. Looking forward our next visit.

Rather than a refurbished and updated facility, Woodlands was built and situated purposely for being a B&B. Each of the 6 rooms includes a soft king-sized bed, a whirlpool tub & gas fireplace, thoughtful amenities and a personal deck with stunning views wherever you look.

Gathering rooms and sitting areas abound, bird feeders outside it's many windows, trails for both hiking or exploring via golf cart and beautiful landscaping/pond.

Nearby bike trails and state parks fed my biking passion. The hosts were attentive to our every need, engaging and friendly. Only real disappointment was that we weren't staying longer! On a 1-5 scale, it's a 10!

My fiance and I have been here 5 times. Every time we leave, we can't wait to go back. John and Sandy are the nicest people you would ever want to meet, and make you feel at home.

The atmosphere is very laid back, and we've always enjoyed the other guests. There are many activities available for every season. Whether you want to hike the trails, geo-cache, snowshoe, or take out a paddleboat, they have something to keep you busy!

Oh, and don't forget to try the pizza oven! The last time we were there, we never left to go eat anywhere else. The breakfasts were great, and if we got hungry, we just threw in a pizza.

This is our 5th year in a row staying at Woodland Trails Bed and Breakfast. It's our favorite getaway for so many reasons. There is a warmth and comfort that can't be explained – from the roaring fire in the fireplace to the beautiful décor throughout – it is a sanctuary of peace and relaxation. We especially enjoy walking through the woods on the miles of walking trails. It is so nice to get away from the city and be surrounded by nature and wildlife. We are already looking forward to our visit next year!

We stayed at this lovely B & B last winter and found a gem. The hosts are so fun and welcoming it's fun to be around them. A complimentary sleigh ride through the woods on the property is offered that just shouldn't be missed. So beautiful and relaxing. The living room is cozy and has huge windows to look out at the wilderness around you. The house is festively decorated for the holidays and really puts you in the "spirit of the season". They also have snowshoes to travel about the land and if you've never walked in snow shoes before its good for a giggle. FUN! Sandra, our hostess, served a fantastic breakfast and John, our host, filled us in on all the happenings on the Danbury-Hinckley highway. We have rebooked for this season and I'm counting the days. See you soon!

Wonderful experience at this vrbo. Everything from the linens on the beds to the pots and pans were high end. We spent hours exploring the trails and fishing in the pond. John and his staff were courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend a stay here.

I don't think there is anyway they could improve this place, it is absolutely amazing. They have so much to offer on the property and it is just so peaceful. I love how much thought and care is put into even the smallest details. Staff is top notch and food is AMAZING! Plus it was fun to see the deer.
