I went to get my nails done for my wedding. I showed her the picture that I wanted and she had me pick out colors, a light blue French tip with some rhinestones. She decided that what I wanted was not good for my wedding and changed the design without consulting me at all. She changed it to a nude nail with a swirly white design and a rhinestone. When I asked about the blue tip, her answer was "it not good for wedding" before getting up and going to the til. While the design itself was not bad, the fact that she did not ask me if I wanted to change makes me angry. It is not her decision to make.

I was in today 7/22/22, for an acrylic removal and shellac on natural nails. They helped me 5 minutes after scheduled time. Don’t mind waiting but this occurs every time I’m in and with incoming guests as well. The Nail Technician that helped me used a sharp drill bit to remove the acrylic. He applied too much pressure causing pain. Also, put DENTS in my natural nails. I pointed the dents out and he said it was oil. In my opinion, AND as a Nail Tech myself, we should NOT be using sharp drill bits and applying too much pressure on the nail when filing. First, shellac/polish should be removed with a SANDING BIT.. after polish is removed, proceed to file/remove the acrylic with a SANDING BIT.. or a safe drill bit. it was NOT oil. The sharp bit and too much pressure caused the dents in my natural nails. After he removed the acrylic, he proceeded with polish. He tried to cover the dents with many coats of shellac… when he asked me to stick polished hands in the nail dryer.. Immediately! My nails stung. Nail dryers should never burn or cause pain to your nails. When getting your nails done, I agree, they will never look perfect… I noticed my nails aren’t shaped the same, and fuzzies/bumps in shellac polish. If you are a Nail Technician.. please make sure you are following procedures the proper way.
