Ramblewood Cabins & Campground

What a nice camping! It was our first night ever with our new camper and we couldn't have ask for better. The owners are very nice and accomodating, they let us do a late arrival. The sites are clean and beautiful with gorgeous views. The toilets, showers and common grounds are very well maintained. We will be back for sure and for a longer stay.

Great campground and lovely, comfortable cabin with a view that is spectacular. Our 3rd year enjoying the hospitality of Paul, the owner, and staff. Probably will go back next year!

What a great campground!!! It is beautiful in the Northern part of New Hampshire. Ramblewood has very spacious RV sites built on a hill around a field with sweeping views of The First Connecticut Lake and the mountains beyond. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking or ATV/snowmobiling.The staff are very friendly and helpful. The camp store has all the essentials at reasonable prices. I CANNOT wait to return here for years to come.

Love this campground. The owners are very friendly. The sites are always clean. They have two incredible showers that are always spotless.
If you are looking for a place to get to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet then this is the place for you.

Recently stayed in Cabin #1 at Ramblewood, and was very satisfied with the experience. The cabin we stayed in had a full kitchen, Satellite Tv , living room, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms (1 full size bed, & 2 twin beds). The furniture in the cabin was all comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the porch in the Adirondack chairs at night listening to the Loons calling. The only negative thing I have to say which could be a deal breaker for some people is that you get road noise from what little bit of traffic passes over Route 3 this far north , but for us everything else about the stay made up for that minor annoyance.

We are from Florida and travel a lot!! We came across Ramblewood and we have to say this is one of the best, friendliest, well taken care of campground…Paul is so nice and Becky went above and beyond to assist us…you guys are the best….it made us feel like “when your here, your like family”….we will def be back!!! Site #9 has the best view!!! Thanks Ramblewood for a wonderful stay!!

Incredible campground next to First Connecticut Lake. Quiet with great wooded spacious campsite sites...we stayed in #23. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lots of hiking, waterfalls, lakes, and moose watching all close by.

Great place to stay. Cabin was spacious and the quoted “sleepers per cabin” is just as advertised. Close to 1st Connecticut Lake and paddle boats are available to rent. Boat launch is also close by. Fishing from shore or from boat and the trails are close by for 4-wheeler or snowmobiles.

The staff do a good job running this place and keeping an eye on the details. Camping in a tent on the hill was quiet and pleasant. Firewood bundle was a good size and good value. Facilities were clean. Location is very good, especially being so near the lake and Moose alley.

Great 3 bedroom cabin very comfortable and affordable. 2 of us rented the cabin so it was basically $200 a night for us to split. The cabin overlooks the lake and is right on the snowmobile trails. Plenty of room for my 4 place trailer and truck. Cant wait to return this summer for utv riding. The stove was gas not electric which for me is a huge plus and the wifi was decent. The furniture was comfortable and the bathroom was a little small but absolutely fine for a cabin and the price. I could see where 6 or more might be a little tight but for guys hitting the trails it would definitely work. I think it would be perfect for two couples and that's what I will be using it for this summer.

This was our second time at Ramblewood. We really enjoyed it. The views are beautiful! The staff and owners are so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to go to Pittsburg!

This was our second visit! Staff are all fantastic .. they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. A camping vibe without the hassle of camping and the convenience of cabin amenities! It is a place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Came with 2 15 year old's.. who rarely had their electronic devices out! I would say that is a successful vacation!

The Tammarack Lodge is a great cabin. Downstairs is the living room, master bedroom and den, along with the full bath and kitchen. Upstairs there are a couple bedrooms and bunk area. The cabin is full furnished with cookware, plates, drinkware, and utensils. There is a standard coffee maker, toaster, and small microwave along with a refrigerator and gas range/oven.

The cabin is right on the lake and there are docks for a boat. Pets are allowed. The local grocery store (Youngs) is about a mile down the road, so picking up food items is convenient. Please note it is directly off the main road so it's not a "cabin in the woods," so to speak. The ownership is very nice and helpful. Great place to stay. Price point is higher than some, but there is a lot of convenience and location advantages to this cabin.

This place was absolutely fantastic the people running it gave us a great idea for a spot over the phone, drove 5 hours and have no regrets beautiful place the staff was awesome a couple near us even brought their chickens to camp !

Booked a trip for 15 campers for this upcoming spring. Becky was extremely helpful and kind over the phone. She helped me organize a spot for everyone. We cant wait to visit.

We have been camping here for years!!! Its one of our favorite campgrounds!! Quiet and peaceful with gorgeous views!
