Michelangelo's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Was here last weekend visiting Villa Roma Resort and was told to check out Michelangelo's. Wow! Best Chicken Marsala I have EVER had! Seriously. Portions were huge; staff was incredibly friendly. My family and I actually went back two days later because all of our meals were "that good." Be sure to call ahead and make reservations because even though they may look like the local pizza joint, they are far beyond. The locals know it and so does everyone at the resort. Can't wait to go back next year! THANKS GUYS! Delicious!

This place is great! The staff is nice, the food is fresh, and the ingredients seem good quality. It's a bit expensive, but you get enough food to split it with other people or take half home.

I grew up in Queens and have sampled Pizza from all over New York City, and every time I have a slice when I'm visiting this small town of Jeffersonville I am blown away by how good this Pizza is! Crispy thin crust perfect balance of sauce and cheese and I love that the sauce is just a little on the sweet side. One of my favorite pizzas from anywhere!

Three of us had a great lunch there. I had chicken marsala, my friend had stuffed shells, and my other friend had lasagna. We all agreed that our dishes were delicious. The waitress was outstanding, so nice and friendly. Great experience.

Got a few slices from here today and they were great!

I ordered chicken strips with fries, a large cheese pizza and a bacon cheeseburger for my family. The chicken strips with fries were a hit but the rest not so much. The pizza was undercooked, still doughy and white on the bottom. The burger was a whold different story. It was undercooked (i asked for medium and got rare) and the patty was HUGE! The amount of fries that it came with was only about 2 fries. Overall, this experience was terrible. I wouldnt go again and you shouldnt either. Especially because I spent $55 and it wasnt even worth any bit of it.

I ordered food for a large family party over Labor Day weekend. The staff couldn’t have been nicer accommodating my requests. The food was ready for pick up exactly as promised. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was a great experience. I’d recommend this restaurant and takeout service with enthusiasm.

Update 1/30/2024. The team has put effort into making the space more beautiful, new paint job, tiles and counter make great additions. Pizza is delicious and the team cares. Please continue to support, I highly recommend, the flavors don't disappoint!

Delicious pasta and sautéed veges were very good. The fish was okay with sauce.

Excellent Italian food. Shrimp picatta was excellent. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it is all very good

They made me a gluten and dairy free pizza and they were so kind about my dietary restrictions. So happy.

Last night my family and I ate here for the first time since I was a kid, and we were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible, and the staff from the owners to the servers are so kind and attentive. Can’t wait to go back again!

The BBQ Chicken and Pepperoni pizzas are really great. I’m excited to come back and try more!

By far the best place go go for food if you are staying at villa roma. It is wonderful for anyone, living on long island and knowing our standards of Italian food, I can honestly say, this place is the very best. We are a large party and have gone for rhe last 26 years. Try it and you will never go anywhere else. The only bad point is they don't deliver to the VR. SUPERB.
Just came back tonight and it's was sooo good. If possible better than ever. So friendly and the food really beats the other local places.

We had the most amazing New Year's Eve celebration because of Michelangelo's Restaurant! We catered in for 20 people. The food was incredible! Wonderful presentation and fantastic customer service! It was a 5 star experience and we can't wait to use them again for future parties!

I had a fantastic experience at Michelangelo's Restaurant & Pizzeria, which has recently come under new management. I went for the Steak & Cheese sub and was greeted by Alex, one of the new owners, who dropped by and chatted for a bit about some of the new changes in the restaurant. When the sub came, and I can't even tell you I am making this up, it was one of the best Steak & Cheeses I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh, and it was just delicious. I checked out the dinner menu and there are some really impressive options on there and there's no doubt that I'll be back again soon to enjoy one of the entrees. Thank you Alex and crew for turning this into the new hidden gem of Jeffersonville!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Michaelangelo’s, which recently came under new ownership. We had a warm and friendly greeting, service was great and the restaurant was spotless. The margarita pizza was light and flavourful, and the house special was outstanding. The salad with homemade Cesar dressing was delicious too. This was all topped off with their amazing bread pudding and canolis. Will definitely go back on a regular basis!

Fantastic hidden jem in plain sight! Tonight was my 3rd time eating there in the last 2 weeks. First 2 times tried the Pizza, Stromboli, Chicken Rolls and Garlic Knots. Tonight we went and sat down for a proper dinner and all 3 of us were completely satisfied. The food is awesome and the portions are large.
