City of Longmont Public Safety Department

I've lived in many different places and I gotta say Longmont has the best police force out of anywhere I've lived. They're always so kind and helpful and most importantly to me, respectful. I've never had an interaction w an officer where I was made to feel inferior to them. Great staff! Keep up the good work and may God keep all of you safe out there!

I have lived in this town since I was 6 years old I grow up on the Eastside of Longmont. I know of two officers that would come by and check on me 2 or 3 times a week. Not cause I was a bad kid ( did get in a little trouble once or twice) but they cared which was great. Still to this day I have never ran into a bad cop. I may have ran into a cop or two that don't want to do their job or even hate there job. But let's be honest have I lived every job I have had hell no. You think you are going to love it, but then you start doing and realize you hate it . That does not make you a bad cop

Tonight I was at Chipotle on North Main and a Longmont police officer was ahead of me in line...As I went up to pay, the Chipotle employee informed me that the officer in front of me paid for one of our meals! I just wanted to say how much I appreciated the gesture and will pay it forward! I am proud to live in a city with these types of individuals protecting and serving our community! Thank you to the anonymous officer who paid for our meal tonight! I am so very thankful to you!

Longmont police is a job! . that being said, there's no bad cops, just bad people. I have no problem with them. But because of a bad person in uniform, i now cannot go back to my OWN house, my kids, and my wife who i miss very dearlly and who misses me . i am now living on the street in longmont because i have no family or place to go. I go to work every day to pay my bills so my family can continue to live happily in our home. I MISS MY FAMILY!

Thank you to the amazing police who help keep our streets safe on Francis and 3rd. Most people drive too fast on Francis Street and while our police have many hard issues on their plate, I appreciate their dedication to making our community streets safer by their presence.

Mike Marquardt is a great officer. Pulled me over last night very professional I live in Longmont and appreciate our law enforcement not only doing there job in a professional manner but also doing there best to keep drunk driving late at night out of our town.

They were gentle when they handcuffed me, the backseat of the squad car was very roomy and the officer was professional. Would definitely recommend getting arrested by longmont police

Would like some surprise patrols by park at 200 mountain view . had folks hanging around and dogs barking at 3:30am and 4:15 am. Behind mountain view plaza at park. 2 seniors had folks get in their cars and steal items

I just want to said there's great Quality Police Officers in Longmont they took the time to help me out with my car not getting impound . thanks God bless you all.
