Ghost ranch was one of the best parts of our trip. Lots of educational materials, some nice souvenir shops and memorabilia. The surrounding mesa's and canyons were spectacular. In particular I really like the chimney Rock hike. Nice place to visit.

I took the light hike and it was wonderful. I learned so much about Georgia O'Keefe and seeing her pictures next to the subject matter was a great experience. Our guide, Trish, really knows her stuff and made it all very interesting.

Amazing place where the artist, Georgia O'Keffe once lived. Rich history and folklore about the ranch. There are many different events and tours. They offer classes from art in a wide array of medias to Penetolodgy. Check out their website for full list! Beautiful canyon mountains surround this place. There's hiking and horseback trails too. My husband and I will definitely be comin back!

Such and incredible experience here at ghost ranch. From the museum to the trails and the dining hall, Don (a seasonal voucher) was particularly helpful and kind. Came here expecting to stay an hour or so ended but staying the whole day, could have stayed longer. Can't wait to come back.

I've been coming to Ghost Ranch for almost 50 yrs. My father first brought me when I was 11 months old in 1972.

The place has a spirituality about it that is hard to find elsewhere. I feel close to God when I am here.

Ghost Ranch is rejuvenating and relaxing with hikes to match all skill levels. There is a massage therapist on staff. The food varies from adequate to excellent depending on the chef that is on staff. Patrick their newest chef in 2021 is fantastic! I've enjoyed just about every meal this last week.

The beds are comfortable. The rooms a little spartan. There's no AC but there are fans and it cools off into the 60's most nights in the summer. The pool is freezing cold and a joy after a long, hot hike. The wranglers and their horses give a great view of the ranch that is inaccessible by foot.

If you try it out on a day visit, you'll want to come back next time for a week or two or more.

Wonderful, inspiring, mystical place in the desert with gorgeous views. I always stop here on my way from Colorado to Albuquerque to hike the Chimney Rock trail and the labyrinth. Great energy ,good food and friendly staff.

Beautiful landscape, it’s easy to see why Georgia O’Keeffe spent so much time here. There are plenty of trails here for day hikes. (There’s camping, museums and more, but we only hiked.)
We did the Matrimonial Trail. Easy hiking that lead to stunning views. We had the whole Mesa to ourselves on an October morning.
Be sure to register for safety. There’s a $5 fee.
There’s a gift shop, that sells snacks, water and O’Keeffe-related items. The items are cheaper than you would expect at an isolated store like this.

Dropped right in on my Birthday trip. They had rooms available on the spot. Just to let people know no wifi or tv in the rooms, so enjoy the scenery everyone. Pitch black at night no light pollution which is good for me. If you plan on doing any kind of activity here make reservations before getting there because they will be booked. Book a tour because most places are off limits without a tour guide.

Beautiful. Quiet. Still. A great place for a retreat or to attend classes or workshops. If you like to ride there's a stable. Georgia slept here.

We went to a wedding here and it was beautiful. Summit history. And there's hidden gold in those mountains research it. They haven't found it yet but it's there somebody that might have washed away or they stole it but I can feel it that gold is there.

I was only here for a few hours, but for a $5 donation, it beats any rest stop! I was able to use the bathroom, take a tour of the museums, go hiking, and even had the option of dinner with all the other guests, stay for camping, or take short drive to view Lake Abiquiu. I highly recommend working this into your travel plans, it is well worth it!

The landscape, views, history and preservation is amazing. I love getting a "back story" of a place. We took the Georgia O'Keefe landscapes your. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to answer every question.

Booked the landscape tour which took about an hour and a half. The tours are not inexpensive but worth it if you are interested in learning more about artist Georgia O'Keeffe and Ghost Ranch history.

Walking in Georgia O'Keeffe footsteps and being called to the same mountains and landscapes that moved her is powerful! Plus there are dinosaurs 🦕 (fossils that is)!

Beautiful place to go to a conference. If you get a chance and are able camp in a tent as the night sky is amazing.

We got here late afternoon as we were heading to Durango, Colorado and decided to stay the evening. The guest center was closed already. The staff that was there went out of their way to locate the right person to get us a room.

Check out the museum there. Make your reservation ahead of time if you want to do the horseback riding tours. There is plenty of hiking trails so you may have to make a weekend trip or longer to enjoy all that this retreat has to offer. There have been quite a few movies shot at this location also.
