WOW! What an incredible place to visit! When we were visiting family we wanted to check out this unique place. This place was full of awesome shops, friendly people, and good food. The place was packed with people on a weekend, but there was plenty of parking. Definitely worth checking out and making the drive if you’re thinking of coming here! Overall it was a lovely experience and plenty to explore.

Cute little town to spend the day in. Lots of shops, art, a few restaurants and great prices on pottery and other Mexican gifts.

I really enjoyed this place. A definite must do if you like little shops. Kid friendly? Eh, not really... I think kids would zone out.

We went for the annual arts fair. It was very interesting but very expensive. Couldn't afford to buy anything except caramel popcorn which was well worth it.

Wanting to take a drive I looked for a great restaurant to head to with a friend in town for the week

Tubac looked fun and this La Entrada has great reviews

The shopping/ arts crafts center it’s in is cool too- with the drive for sure when you factor in a meal here!

It’s beautifully eclectic upon entering, and that vibe just keeps on growing when you see the main dining room…WOW

While not extensive the menu was varied and so Many things sounded great- it was a hard decision for sure

Water was served immediately and The server came in a reasonably quick time and she was very pleasant- taking time to answer all Our extensive questions, and describe each mole in detail for me
I decided on trying a mole- as it’s rare to even see it on a menu
My friend got the raspberry salad - no meat

The chips/ salsa were very different- while crispy taco shells you break up, and a smooth, orangish/ red salsa

Well I LOVED the salsa- perfect hotness to me and it stayed on the chip way better than huge chunks of tomato that you normally see. We both decided we preferred this salsa by far!

The food was brought out in normal time- not fast not slow

Looking beautiful ( his salad was amazing too) we both tucked right in

I really liked the chicken mole. Instead of chunks of chicken it was a whole hog breast of chicken covered in mole sauce

The rice and beans were so different- and SPECTACULAR!
OMG- I’d go just for them. They looked different and a little weird, but YUMBO!

Didn’t have to wait long for the check- just long enough not to feel rushed out

We were both full and after paying the check we walked around the very cool entry and took a few pics… I love whoever designed his place
I could live there!

Go and enjoy - you’ll be glad you did

You could spend a couple days looking through all the shops and galleries. There's a distinctive southwestern feel to the place. I was particularly drawn to all the bright colors!

It was hot, hot, hot and some stores were closed. I think they make repairs, take their own vacation, when it is so hot and few tourists brave getting out. I live fairly local so it's a short trip and I usually go twice a year. I went with my sister in law this time. 🎵We found things🎶
