Flying Leap Vineyards Tubac Tasting Room & Art Gallery

This is for the new location in Tubac!
We had a very nice experience here tasting a nice Cabernet with the delightful Ginger. Nice upscale ambience We came right before they closed so did not do a tasting, we just did a glass of wine. It was very nice of the host to even serve us as we came so late in the day. Wine was very good but we only did the cab and the tennat.

Fun place to sample their wine. Their chardonnay is grown in Argentina. It has a bit of lemon flavor, very unique. If enjoy nonsweet chardonnay you'll love this one.

We went to Flying Leap Vineyard's tasting room after having lunch in Tubac and had a fun experience and a great tasting. When we went you could have a full tasting flight for $22.00 or order wine by the glass. The tasting room itself was restricted because of COVID so we found a nice table in their outdoor patio.

The staff was very friendly and she took time to tell us about the origins of the winery and the three owners. As she brought each of the different wines for us to taste, she told us about the grapes, the style and shared a little about how the label was created. The wines were very good and diverse in their profiles to provide a nice variety to the tasting.

The courtyard was very pleasant on the late fall day we were there and make for a great atmosphere to spend some time as a group and enjoy the tasting.

I’ve been a member of the wine club for over a year and the service has always been impeccable. Julie is one of the most knowledgeable and pleasant sommeliers I have encountered! She is truly an asset to Flying Leap. It’s refreshing to get such a personalize customer service, she remembers customer names and their preferences. The wine is top notch, but the customer service is exceptional.

Late Sunday afternoon stop to finish a fun day in Tubac. Tasting was fun and low key. Patio is awesome. Julie very entertaining.
