SageWest Health Care - Lander

Many visits to the Sage West Lander ER over the past 5 years, for heart attacks, AFIB treatments, respiratory emergencies, and urinary tract problems. In every instance, I have received excellent treatment by all staff involved with my treatments, and appreciate their personalized attention and the information they give me as to what is pertinent to the treatment I am receiving at the time. I have come to develop a complete trust in the staff, and find the facility itself to be clean and adequate.

They listened to me despite tests showing everything looked good.
Then they were able to set in motion getting advanced care to follow up on my issue

I recently had two visits to Sage West Lander via the emergency room. The emergency nursing staff was professional, courteous and attentive. The doctor on night duty briefed me on my options and looked in on me several times. My second visit required a hospital stay and again the nursing staff was great. Dr. Kakavandi took care of me and spent a significant time letting me know all my options and his recommendations. All ended well and I was extremely happy with the end results. It’s good to know there’s a regional hospital that can take care of you in an emergency situation.

The staff doctors and anethesiologist were superior, I don't remember a thing since I was knocked out and all went well. The staff nurses were awesome in helping me through my overnight stay. The kitchen staff also were very helpful and the hospital food was amazing!

I am so glad I live in Lander, Wyoming. I had an incident that required emergency attention before sunrise on a Monday morning. I got to the ED and was received rapidly, compassionately, professionally, and effectively. The whole staff was great.

Once I was able to finally get someone to give me a call back things went smoothly. Riverton initially called me for scheduling, I missed the call and I called back 3 times leaving a message each time and no call back. Finally on my 4th call I got someone and we got it scheduled.
If you have a message system it needs to be checked regularly or maybe it was not working. Can't say so giving them the Benoit the doubt. When I did get someone and told them I'd been trying to schedule and no call back the gal tried telling me they tried calling on several occasions but that did not happen.
That's my feedback. I apologize if I'm blunt but you asked.
Yes I will continue with Lander Sagewest for all my needs.
The 5 stars is they met my need for what I needed done.

I visited the radiology department. I was greeted professionally at both admissions and radiology. My wait time was minimal. Radiology tech was amazing and he explained everything, calming my fears. I was pleased with my visit and won't hesitate to go back again.

The Lander ER and ICU unit took great care of my dad. Very grateful for the care he received from everyone who helped him - nursing staff, social services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, doctors - there's probably more that should be acknowledged, but that's all I can think of right now. Everyone was very professional and caring - both of him and his worried family.

Had my baby boy there. My girlfriend had to get a C-section and the staff was very kind, uplifting and overall very helpful throughout the entire procedure. Kept us going with thier personalities and very generous spirit. The ladies who cared for my gf after the procedure were as well the same way. Went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable her entire stay as well as making me feel as comfortable as possible. Can't ask for more!

The doctor , Dr Kakavadi, and his nurse were knowledgeable and accomodating. The experience was quite positive.

ER staff was knowledgeable and kept me updated about waits for lab results.

Went to the ER after a fall. They were very caring and professional.

I had an MRI, and was very pleased with the tech and friendly staff.
