Tubac Secret Garden Inn

Stayed here on a 4-day visit to Tubac to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It's a very quiet property tucked away just a short walk away from the main part of Tubac. The unit was clean, spacious, quiet, well-maintained, tastefully-furnished, and comfortable, with little touches here and there that made it feel "homey". The staff was instantly and positively responsive when there was a maintenance issue. We would definitely return on our next visit to Tubac.

Absolutely loved this place! Me and my husband's friends are getting married and having their reception and the entire group of family and friends are staying here. The casitas range in size, all well decorated with amenities. The grounds are well-maintained and perfect for large or small gatherings. The children were running around all evening, the adults had plenty of seating areas to enjoy dinner and drinks within eyesight of the kiddos. Some of our friends brought their dogs and the space made sense for them too. It's like renting your own private town for the weekend. I would come back here over and over alone or with family and friends.

We used to look around the Secret Garden grounds when we were staying in Tubac and dream about staying there. It is such an incredible space to experience. We finally got to stay in then Ocotillo Casita and the White Sage Casita and found them to be absolutely adorable. Very creative furnishings and appointments and very clean! I so much appreciate the spirit and uniqueness this Inn has. You will take home a memory of a very special place!!! We sure did.

like your name. It says it is a secret garden, a rustic and cozy place. Surrounded by historical places such as missions, national parks, handicraft stores, good restaurants, the people of the place are very friendly, super recommended to spend time with your partner, appreciate nature at night, enjoy the tranquility and contemplate sunsets at night, the sky and the stars definitely if I'm in the area I would not hesitate to return…. inside the place very clean

We were a three generation group and we’re in the large unit for two nights. It was perfect for our needs. Easy access to the trail system and the local shops. The kitchen had every possible item one might need—-far more than any VRBO we’ve ever visited. Master bedroom perfect, two college kids said the twins were squeaky but fine. It was quiet and both inside and outside there were lots of places to hang out. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it.

We stayed one night in the Ocatillo Casita, and it was very comfortable. The grounds are very large and quiet. The property management was very helpful when we had a miscommunication with our stay. This place is very convenient for everything Tubac has to offer.

My husband & I stayed in Tubac for the first time the week of Christmas. We didn’t realize just how badly we needed this gorgeous space with absolute serenity & silence. The bath tub was incredible! The grounds were super cool & tidy. Enjoyed an amazing dinner at Elvira’s, which we walked to easily! We also enjoyed incredible treatments at Soulistic Healing Center - highly recommend! I cannot explain just how special this time away was for us.. and only less than an hour from home! We will definitely be back.

This place is full of character and charm! It was spotless with very recent fixtures all in perfect order. Everyting was very comfortable and cozy. Not a very big room but perfect for a couple people. The grounds were equally interesting and unique. I have to admit that the rough pothole filled gravel road leading to the place gave me pause, but when you enter the gate you enter a gorgeous expansive property encircled by a wall that creates a real "Secret Garden." I loved this place! The host was wonderful with dining recommendations and getting us set up on very short notice. We were in the area birdwatching but Tubac looks like a fascinating art town. I wish we had the time to explore it! I'm so glad we stayed here!! It was one of my very fond memories from my vacation.

We are having the best time at the Secret Garden Inn! The house is gorgeous. It is quiet, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We are so comfortable here, it will be hard to leave. It is an easy walk to all of the galleries in town and also close to some incredible bird watching trails. We spent a morning at the Soulistic Healing Center (we get a discounted rate for staying here) where there are majestic pools and endless fun for the kids. We will definitely stay again!

Great place for a quiet time! It was refreshing to have a room with a coffee maker, refrigerator, cooling and heating and hot water! We have stayed recently at hotels (Prescott and Jerome) that did not have these things and their daily fees were much higher. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

This is my boyfriend and my absolute favorite place to stay. It's walking distance from the tubac shops, has a beautiful coi pond and fireplace area to relax next to. Rooms are always clean and include everything we need. The owners are super friendly and attentive always. Thank you for hosting another great weekend!!

We spent 2 days and one night at Secret Garden. There were 4 women and as many beds, plenty of room for everyone. We were meet at the room and given brief walk through. There was coffee and a variety of teas, no creamer, but not a major concern. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the history provided in our welcome binder. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed two nights. Beautiful large garden area with sculptures, koi pond, gazebo, barbecue, walking path and more. The room was very clean and well stocked with environmentally friendly products and large fluffy towels. The WiFi was excellent and the TV had hundreds of channels. Nice and quiet and a short walk to old downtown area with a variety of galleries, shops and restaurants. Would definately stay here again.

A beautiful sanctuary to stay at in Tubac. It's walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town but is nestled in a beautiful "secret garden" that would be an easy treasure to miss if you're not in the know! It's also right next door to the Soulistic Healing Center where I had the best massage ever and spent luxurious time in their heated healing pools of ionized water (no chlorine!) Don't miss this gem in Tubac!

My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary at this quaint inn and basked in every minute of our weekend. The staff is warm and friendly and attentive to details. We couldn't have found a more tranquil setting and plan on coming back soon for a family reunion.

After a full day of galleries and shops, spending time by the fountain in the garden is just the relaxation needed. Marvelous facility and definitely 'top shelf' accommodations. We'll be back again.

My colleague and I needed an overnight getaway to do some strategic planning and writing, so decided to go to Tubac. We found the Secret Garden Inn online and took a chance. It was just the right choice. Our rooms were spacious yet cozy and comfortable; original, yet covered all the details needed to make a night away from home as pleasant as possible. The manager, Ionia was friendly and accommodating, and offered that if we needed anything to call her. We spent the following morning working in the gazebo, which apparently is used for weddings and other celebrations. We highly recommend the Secret Garden Inn, and will definitely return, hopefully next time with our wives.
