Went for a hike, did the Vault Mine Loop. I always enjoy visiting Madera Canyon

This is a beautiful hiking area reached from Madera Canyon, but "waterfall" is a bit of an exaggeration. It is really a spring, Sprung Spring, which flows over a rocky ledge and over the trail. The spring is less likely to be your destination than some of the nearby peaks in the Mt. Wrightson area, or Baldy Saddle which is up on the ridge going NW from the main summit block.

Cool air and hike up the Super Trail is gorgeous with fantastic views. I hiked it in September. The streams and Springs were flowing nicely.
