Al's Oasis is a fun and unique experience to check out if you are passing through the Chamberlain/Oacoma area. This place is quite large and has some very interesting and unique things to check out while you are there. They have many food options to choose from. I have stopped a few times now, and their main restaurant is actually quite good. I had the Bison burger, and it was quite good. The fries were great as well. You have to grab a cup of their 5 cent coffee while there. There's not a a lot between Rapid City and Sioux Falls, so these little roadside attractions are a great place to stop and stretch and get a good meal.

A little pricey. I spent like $80 on a knife, some magnets and trinkets. But it’s a tourist attraction and I had fun so oh well. Kinda cramped honestly. Lots of stuff, lots of clothes but staff was super nice and friendly

We will definitely be back! The food was good, prices were good, scenery was awesome, friendly staff and that is rare these days. Attached is a gift shop, grocery store and liquor store with fishing tackle. Very cool place!!

I ALWAYS stop here on my frequent commutes between Iowa and Montana. The bison burger is always fantastic as well as the hot beef and hot turkey dinners. The coffee is also a great boost to my morale on the LONG drive. Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is very ranch feeling too. One more also. My dog also loves walking around the bison statues.
OH. AND THE PIE!

This is a fabulous place to stop on the way to the Hills. It has a restaurant, clothes, a grocery store and pretty much anything else you will want/need. Also gas is right next door. Lots of fun statues and information as well.

Second time coming here while driving towards the black hills. It looks like they re-did everything which looks great! Restaurant is very good, lots of good stuff to buy, and the grocery store area had a good variety of items. I like to call this place a nice sneak preview of wall drug!

COOLEST GROCERY STORE IN AMERICA. Get all your supplies here. There isn’t many places with a good selection of fruits, meat etc in the area. They have lots of cool sights, goods & games. Must stop.

Great breakfast, and we had a blast with the shooting gallery! Obviously, my favorite part!

We ordered Al's Oasis classic burger. The burger and fries were hot. The burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The waiter was very good. Excellent dining experience overall.

We met friends at Al's Oasis restaurant for lunch while traveling through the area. What a wonderful place to stop at when traveling through the open plains of central SD! There is plenty of space to park and get out for a walk to stretch your legs. They have a small grocery store/bodega, a gift/souvenir shop and a really nice restaurant with good 👍 food! Their home made pies are impressive! They even have a robotic server that delivers the food orders to your table for the wait staff to transfer to the people at your table. Our food was great and the price was a good value for the items we ordered. If I get back this way soon, I will be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner and a piece of their great pie.

On vacation very friendly staff ordered a chicken sandwich, grilled the chicken tenders and the crispy green beans. Actually had to alternate my chicken sandwich midway through and add seasoning which they did. Excellent food overall in atmosphere.

This place is the definition of Midwest culture. The main course is a buffalo burger! That’s really sums it up. Good service and rustic feels. I swear the buffalo on the wall was looking at me…..

Everything we ate at restaurant tasted exceptional and was good size portions, even the soup/salad bar. Pro tip: get your 5 cent coffee to go! Also pleased to find a full on grocery store inside Al’s to stock our travels, not just a convenience store.

Stopped on a whim because we saw several billboards. Was not a bad choice. Really tasty Buffalo burger and the onion rings were fantastic. Huge store attached to the restaurant as well. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Worth a stop in for sure!

We had their buffet, for the price I would recommend just ordering a dish. The meat loaf was really dry. Their BBQ turkey was rubbery and there's not a big selection. But great customer service, everyone is friendly and their pies are delicious.

We ALWAYS Stop in at Al's. Discovered it a few years ago. It has everything-even stayed at the hotel next door. Down home cookin', friendly staff throughout. Well trnded bar. Fab gift shop, like a home town department store-Great clothes brands, Ladies. Postcards and drive up USPS drop off! Gas/Diesel. Full service grocery store. You name it, Al's has it!

Had the Buffalo burger and salad bar for dinner a few nights ago. Food was excellent and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Service wasn't 100 percent but they seemed to be short staffed Tha night I was there. Would recommend eating here.

My wife and I had dinner there, overall it was a great value and service was great (Shelby was our server). My wife enjoyed the buffet and I enjoyed the walleye entree. Food was tasty, the entree was served fairly quickly and portions were plentiful, both the buffet and my walleye were quite reasonably priced. It was happy hour, so half off for beer, too. I recommend Al’s Oasis and would definitely eat there again.

We've eaten at Al's five times but this was the first time we had breakfast and it was just as wonderful as the lunches and dinners we enjoyed. My Grandma was a great cook and I would swear that she was in the back cooking. We plan our trip from Seattle to Wisconsin around dining at Al's.
