Went here today! Drove alllll the way from Jacksonville and it was worth the drive! We ordered the blooming onion, fries,funnel cake, corn dogs and lemonade…

The blooming onion was perfection!!!! The corn dogs brought back the nostalgia of going to the fair as a child down to the crispy fried pieces of corn bread at the bottom of the stick!

The fries were cut potatoes (real potatoes) and you get a decent amount for the price….

Now let’s talk about this funnel cake. Due to some technical difficulties the oil took a while to heat up. He was more than friendly and while we waited we chatted about Jacksonville and about the events that were taking place at the Hawthorn Racetrack this weekend. We were even give a few deep fried Oreos as he apologized for our wait.

Once it came up it was fresh and hot and tasted like the fair!! Over all the trip was well worth it!

If I have only one complaint is was that they should add just a little more sugar to the lemonade😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Prices were fair and good (especially compared to the actual prices at the fair)

I would definitely make the drive back down there!!!!

Just stopped in on our way north on vacation. So many choices and I am sure you can't go wrong. We ordered fried shrimp, cheese curds, and mushrooms and all were fresh, hot, and delicious. We will stop in anytime we are up this way! Highly recommend!

Absolutely great food every time we stop. Gator bites tender and delicious, fried shrimp seasoned perfectly but my absolute favorite is the potatoes slices🤤. Customer service is always excellent and quick. I definitely recommend everyone to stop and try the amazing foods they have.

Drove past Fair Foods while on a drive. Wondered what it was, so Googled!!!!
Stopped by purposely for 1st time 7/16/2022 while passing through Waldo.
The concept is great - not having to wait for a fair or carnival to come to town to be able to indulge on Fair treats!

Dan is the owner. He owns the land & built a great roadside stop, open every day. We enjoyed the Fish & Chips, Italian Sausage and Funnel Cake - all made fresh while waiting, and seated, at an outdoor picnic table (many available). We plan to stop again when traveling through Waldo and hope to try the burgers and more.

Dan, you were a pleasure meeting. We hope for your continued success.

A few suggestions that we offer with humble hearts:

Ice Cream Cones
Save the styrofoam containers if folks eat at the tables. In hindsight, we would have happily enjoyed ours on paper plates! See you again soon!

Exactly what I needed. A local spot with great food and great service. They are so nice, bathroom was clean, and my ham and cheese omelet was five stars. They didn’t have coffee but instead made me a delicious mocha.

Great food at great prices. Made on the spot and absolutely delicious. Amazing selection of choices. Hillbilly Fries were out of this world! Tasted great! Make a stop in Waldo for this place!

By far the best fair foods with or without having to go to the fair. Great prices Dan the owner is absolutely amazing and he created quite a must see gem. If you are ever in Waldo,Fl you have to stop here. I repeat you have to stop here.

I ordered grilled chicken sandwich with fries.$5bucks. Plus extra fries 2 more bucks. Total:$7.👍As long as he keeps prices down I will keep coming back.👍

Had the Italian sausage with green peppers, onions and jalapeños and my husband had the sourdough burger. Both were delicious. We also ordered the loaded fries and they were great but that alone could have been a meal for two. While we wound up with too much food, I wouldn’t have changed one item of our order. We loved trying it all. This quirky roadside gem will be a great memory.

I received the wrong bag that had no meat on it. I came back after work and the problem was resolved.

This place is a small roadside, walk up diner,with outside dining or take out that specializes in food that you might find at a fair. Very large menu. I had a half pound burger with fries and drink for 10 bucks. Great hot fresh food! Even had a conversation with the owner, a very pleasant man named Dan. This place is a local jewel in Waldo. If you want hot fresh, good food with good portions, this is the place. Will definitely be back.

Chicken tenders were fresh and delicious. Batter was also great. Nice day with friends and family. Wanna make it everytime I go to Waldo to stop by. Dan you did real good!

This place was a great little roadside pull off for a bite to eat. Many menu items. I had the sour dough burger and it was amazing! Fries are hand cut and so good! A must stop if your passing by!

This is a great great little roadside attraction with a wonderful food. The owners were super nice. It’s a very eclectic small business. And the shake ups were amazing. Highly recommend stopping the menu is great. I am from Colorado and I miss wonderful little Places like this with great food friendliness and hospitality.

We met Dan the owner and he shared his story of opening this place. Cool guy and awesome homemade breading for a lot of his items! The fried Oreos and mini corn dogs were my favorite but we also had the gator bites. This is small but a neat destination stop!

What? In Waldo! Great menu. Many choices & varieties of sandwiches, hot or cold. Really nice 0wners. Picnic tables. All covered so you can sit outside rain or shine . You won't be disappointed . 😌 let's support everyone we can.

Worth the drive if you love fair food anytime you want. Made fresh and good prices. They do serve breakfast and they have daily menu changes. Great foot long all beef hot dog.

Scrumptious! Gotta try the strawberry shake-up!
