Awesome place to eat. Prices aren't too bad either!!! Warm, friendly servers. Salad bar with your entree. Seafood bar from 5 to 9pm on Friday and Saturday for $24.99. I got the fried catfish with hushpuppies, loaded mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. My husband did the delmonico steak. So. Dang. Good!! And please, please try the frog legs!! Everything was seasoned to perfection but that dang steak just melt in your mouth!! And they cut all steaks in house!! So worth the drive!!!

Was passing through this area and decided to stop and have dinner the picture shows what I ordered i was not disappointed with my steak it was perfect, medium well. The restaurant is very clean even to the bathroom the people was very nice. If any of you Trucker passing through this area and like a delicious peace of steak this is your restaurant lots of room to park.

Just got home from having supper here. Let me start by saying, we don’t eat out much because I can cook better than most restaurants. That being said, everything we had was amazing! We had a party of 6. It was a Thursday night so not very busy. We were promptly seated, and ordered drinks and 3 appetizers, all delivered in a timely manner. The fried pickles were done to perfection as were the onion rings and fried mushrooms. I ordered the frog legs for the main course.. some of the best I have ever had. Others in the group ordered steaks that were cooked to perfection. The sides of fried okra and Mac and cheese were also prepared properly. I don’t usually leave reviews, especially when we don’t eat out a lot, but this place, in my opinion is worth the trip. This place will be on my go to list next time I’m looking to eat out. Thank you for the great food, service and welcome atmosphere.

Great food across the board. 🤯🤯🤯 We got the Fried Gator, Catfish filets, shrimp and grits, and the strawberry shortcake for dessert. We would come back and have the same meal. Too bad we’re all the way in South Florida!! Ashley, you're a southern treasure.

Second time here was last night for dinner and both times have been excellent! From the moment you walk in the door all the staff are nice and the food is phenomenal!

We went here for the first time on Saturday. I stumbled across this place on a Google search while looking for a steak house that we had not yet been to. I previewed the menu before we left and I decided I wanted a steak. When we got there, the seafood buffet looked so good that I got that instead. Very affordable and good! The children’s chicken fingers and battered fries are great as well!

Awesome place to go eat. I wouldn’t recommend getting a buffet during lunch just based off my experience. The buffet is not long enough to accommodate the masses. Just order off the menu, you will not be disappointed. Ring the bell at the end of your visit if you’ve have good service.

First timer. Thursday night and they were busy with locals. Waitresses were working hard and fast. 6 in my party and we all got the buffet, 4 meat options, salad, 2 breads and 2 soups. Everything was fresh, hot and good. Several people had ordered steak and they looked great also. Prices were very reasonable. When I looked over the reviews was amazed to see some negative comments and even complaints about High prices??? I guess that some people just don't eat out much. I was very pleased to see the owners rebuffing comments. Way to go Cattle Bay. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

We found this by accident, We rode from Savannah looking for a Mexican restaurant. Glad we didn't find it. They have an incredible fresh buffet. The staff and customers were so friendly. We felt right at home. This place is the gold star of Southern hospitality. We definitely will make a point to stop on our next motorcycle ride to Savannah.

The food is fantastic and the portions almost guarantee taking home leftovers. You definitely get your money's worth. We were also impressed now that this was our second visit and the food was hot when brought to our table unlike the big franchises. We will make this place one of our top date night locations.

Great atmosphere to bring family, friends and loved ones. We were seated right away, the waitress was very friendly and took care of our every need and want. On Saturdays, the lunch buffet is Breakfast and for supper is Seafood. We ordered off the menu which consisted of: blackened grilled salmon, blackened grilled shrimp, chicken strips and grilled catfish. This was for a family of 4. The only complaint was the mashed potatoes. They tasted like instant potatoes with no flavor. Overall this is a great place to eat at.

Had the buffet lunch. Didn’t know there was food one could get this great. Just like mama used to make. The epitome of great traditional Deep South cooking. Keep up the good work!!!

This place has awesome food. Now if you are looking for a cheap meal go else where. The quality was great the steak was good as well as the loaded mash tators. Also tried the fried Pickles another great choice. As a truck driver I've eaten all over the country and I'll say this was some great food. Oh and the fried shrimp was also good.. So you get what you pay for as far as quality. You want a good meal stop in. You wanna a cheap meal with no taste go somewhere else..

Well I'm going to be 1,000% honest. This place outdoes any seafood restaurant that I've been to in Lyons, Vidalia, Dublin, Swainsboro, and Canoochee all of them put together. (Cattle Bay restaurant has got them all beat because of their menu variety on the buffet.) They have catfish fillets, frog legs, low boil, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, stuffed crab, fried scallops, clams strips, beer battered cod, grinch, steak pieces, hush puppies, crab stew, and salad bar for $24 that is better than anything else. This place is fabulous and it's good. As long as you keep the same prices, I will keep coming there and I will tell everybody I know about this place. The first time I went was for the lunch buffet. It was fabulous. When they told me about the seafood buffet, (I said I'll be back to try it. I'm ever so glad I did.) I had a three people come with me and they liked it too. I didn't know they've been there before but that's okay. I enjoyed talking with the owners that I met there too. It's ironic because they were fairly close to where I'm from in Florida. Then one of the waitresses lived where I was raised and knew some of the people that was my friends and Dad's best friends. Even the waitresses everybody seem so nice that I've talked with everybody the first time. I went in there which was on a Wednesday a week before I tried to seafood night on Friday night. Of course my favorite is the frog legs, the fried shrimp, the beer battered cod and the clam strips. I'm so glad I found a better and new place to go to. Plus I'm saving a whole hour because of the driving time to Lyon's and back home so now I'm saving all the way around. But I'll never be back to Chatter's now.
