We attended a wedding this weekend that was catered by Jed’s and let me just say this was the best bbq I’ve had. Everyone loved the sides and the sweet tea was great! They had Macaroni and tenders as well and it was all awesome. We have been to a lot of weddings and I would say this was the best food hands down.

First time here. Loved their back room where they have pictures of veterans, almost completely covering the walls! This is an extremely popular local restaurant. Great service, food is pretty much just good 'ole "country cooking". Gets pretty loud when restaurant is full. Great place for family gatherings!

We loved this place. The BBQ was moist and not dry. The fried squash was lightly battered and freshly cut. The red slaw had just enough heat. My dad got the chuck wagon (breaded beef) and it was seasoned well. Everything we got was good. The portions were big for the price we paid. Many items on the menu besides just BBQ. You can bring $5 with you to eat and not leave hungry because many items on the menu were less than $5. We will be eating here again.

We had the fried baby flounder lunch special. It was hot and fresh. If you are hungry, you can fix that problem at Jed's.

The owner, Danny, is so friendly, the staff are too, the food is down home cooking and really really good. Great place to stop on the way to Myrtle Beach! BBQ was fantastic, peach cobbler was absolutely perfect.

Old fashioned BBQ and seafood restaurant decorated patriotically and serving generous portions on wooden tables. Charming and a great value still. The BBQ was very tasty and the seafood frying smelled heavenly. Gotta go back and try more. Worth the detour off US 64 through the town of Asheboro. You will be glad you did. Note the drive through line can get long.

I had been driving by Jed's BBQ and always wanting to go and try the barbecue there. So totally worth it!
We went through the drive-thru because we had the kids with us and they were cranky... The team inside got us our dinner ready in no time at all and when we got it home.... Omg delicious! 😋

Lemme tell ya something. I've never been here in all my years of living in Asheboro and I can say now with certainty that I greatly regret it.

I went with a simple seafood combo plate which came with some whitefish, oysters, shrimp, hushpuppies, and whatnot and it was all just so much.

I could only finish about half my plate but only because I was saving space for their banana pudding, which in my opinion, is worth going by itself.

The staff were all so wonderful, the location is quite nice and easy to get to, the only problem I did have was that it was so busy you have a bit of a hard time finding a parking spot.

Hit up Jed's. They make you feel welcome and definitely make your stomach feel like your visiting mom's for the weekend.

Took a group of 12 senior citizens here today and the service was excellent and the food was even better. I had the chicken and dumplings and they were even better than Cracker Barrel. Jed's is always good to us and the food is great!

I had another delicious fried flounder plate. I would definitely recommend the flounder plate. They also have lots of other delicious food. As always friendly and courteous staff!!

Today was our 1st time there and the food was delicious even their burgers. My husband got beef liver and onions, mashed potatoes, okra and squash and I tasted his and decided this was gonna be our favorite place to eat. Excellent Food, Excellent service and Excellent Prices.

The baby flounder was wonderful. And my baked chicken aw great. The vegetable sides were awesome. I'd say we had a great meal. And the service was the best.

Love the food. I mostly go at breakfast time. The girls that serve you are sweet and caring. The food is just good homestyle cooking.

Local gem. Family style diner. Great daily specials and food served hot. Value for the money is unbeatable.

A jewel of local favorite, this place boasts delicious dishes with daily specials and a warm, inviting environment. Located on Business 220, you don't have to worry about ordering wrong because daily specials such as all you can eat baby flounder on Thursdays are a real treat. Oh, and make sure to get some of the best slaw in the area.

Great food and people. A little crowded and not the best for kids but great old-fashioned home cooking.
