I’ve toured dozens and dozens of old mansions over the years. None was more fascinating and it more “originally” preserved than this one. It was closed in the 1930s and left as it was. The canned goods from that period are still in the cabinets. They even let us go up in the attic (I hope they still do) and it was like going back in time. Truly a unique experience for those who appreciate this kind of thing. Go. Don’t miss it.

We learned so much about history in Faulkton and our great state. This is a must see museum

Well worth the drive to small town but risky if they would be open. Phone doesn't work and parking is on the street. Our tour girl (forgot to get name) stayed past 4 to give us tour and let us take our time. This was the first weekend open (for Memorial day) which was not mentioned on website. We enjoyed but VERY rustic charm!! Thanks for being open!!!
