Molly's Manor B&B

Donna made us feel by welcoming us when we arrived. Wrote her phone number on a chalk board outside our door so we knew how to contact her if need be. On the same board, wrote our names to greet us. Would definitely recommend staying as a guest. Place was clean and was well furnished.

This place is awesome. Beautiful, clean and unique. The owner Donna is a sweetheart and has created a great experience. She makes a mean breakfast too.

We were on our way to Deadwood for a wedding and decided to drive 3 hours on Friday afternoon and stay here overnight, before continuing on. We are so glad we did.
We stayed in the Carriage House and it was so cute and so very very quiet at night. We wished we could have stayed an additional day but had to head out the next morning. Donna was a great hostess, and her serving us breakfast was just perfect. My mom who has cooked for 80+ years was so relieved to come to the Big house and be served a prepared breakfast for her--she said this was the best part! We had time to hear the story of how the Owner came upon this property and how it all evolved into what she had wanted to serve guests. It was nice the night before in town also, because it is such a small town but still had a few choices of places to eat around 7pm.
I have a feeling even though we do not live that far from here--we may be making excuses for a reason to return. Of course we had to check out the Dutch Bakery before leaving town! Thanks Donna

We were going to the Platte Area for a family reunion and stumbled upon Molly's Manor. What a find and what a pleasant experience. This Bed and Breakfast has any hotel beat hands down. The home is beautifully redone and very historical. There is a nice sitting room and front porch. The breakfast is to die for. Everything is homemade and delicious. Donna is a great hostess and a great cook! If you have reason to be in the Platte area, I highly recommend it. It made our trip special.

Everything about this place is great. Exceptionally clean, really nice decor(seems like an HGTV place) and the person who owns and does the work is charming and friendly.

I was passing through and was looking for accommodation for one night. The booking was made by calling when I was already in front of the house. Everything was arranged in minutes. I spent it in beautiful surroundings with a fabulous host who provided me with a great breakfast in the morning. Should I be in the area again, I will definitely stop here again.

I consider myself an experienced BnB guest, the only way to travel, so it takes a bit to impress, Mollys didn’t just impress, but knocked it clear out of the park!! A zillion personal touches incorporated into clean, quiet, eye pleasing, comfortable spaces and fabulous breakfast!!
Donna is the perfect!! Hostess!! Friendly, efficient, organized, so personable!! I dream about going back!!

Stay was amazing! Best sleep I have received, other than my own bed! I loved everything about the stay and the tiny touches of home. Donna really must love what she does and it shows. Everything was perfect. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely loved my stay! The owner is amazing, everything was very clean, had that feeling of home, and breakfast was great. Super accommodating and I’d love to stay again! Easy to access with tons of room to park. Cannot recommend them enough 😊

Our family loves Donna and this B&B. She is a sweetheart and one great cook. She will do anything to accommodate you. We always request the blueberry French toast casserole- yumm! Rooms are so nice and homey. Beautiful home.

Stayed here with my dad and brother for a hunting trip, compared to your standard hotel/motel this is hands down better. Wonderful service and well kept.

Near downtown as well as the grocery store so location is great.

Recently my wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in Platte, SD at Molly's Manor. The owner Donna is absolutely awesome. She was so hospitable and was great at balancing casual conversation and leaving us to ourselves to celebrate. Breakfast was awesome and because it's Platte WOW was the price right. If you're going through or traveling to Platte, SD specifically this IS the place to stay (and yes, even if it's a bunch of dudes going hunting). The owner(s) will make or break any B&B and in the case of Molly's Manor, 5 star excellence!! We look forward to coming back sometime soon.

Tips:
All the rooms are pretty much the same size and are great. There are two rooms that share a bathroom though which is great for kid patrol if needed. Great coffee, books and games upstairs. Hit the nearby Platte pool! Be SURE to hit Puddle Ducks consignment store too.

Donna is one of the loveliest women I have yet to meet in my life. I stumbled upon this gem of a B&B when I was traveling by myself through South Dakota. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, the price was awesome and the company of Donna and another woman who happened to be staying at the same time were priceless. I can't wait to go back and stay again! This place is in a small town but definitely worth it!!!

My wife and I headed to Platte, SD, to attend a birthday celebration for one of my relatives. We'd heard about Molly's Manor and decided to give it a shot. We were very pleased by what we found. We were greeted by the proprietor at the door, and received very personal service during our stay.

The rooms were spotless, the breakfast in the morning was a formidable spread, and the price was very reasonable. I'll be certain to return again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Molly's Manor to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint B & B. Off street parking in the back. Large main floor living room for our large group of 4 families to gather. Smaller upstairs sitting room to play games or relax in front of the TV, complete with mini fridge and coffee maker. Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Delicious breakfast (which is optional if you prefer). We will definitely be back!

Molly's Manor B & B in Platte is a gem of a place to stay in a gem of a small town. My husband and I came out to fish and found our new favorite place to stay. The owner is super friendly, accommodating and serves a terrific breakfast. We're definitely coming back and will tell anyone who might be coming to Platte to check out Molly's.

What a lovely place! Donna is very welcoming and a great host – I wish I stayed for longer to get to know her better! Platte is a great town to stop at if you’re travelling from Sioux Falls to the Badlands, right next to Route 44.

This was my first time staying at a B&B and what a great experience it was! I was on my lifetime dreamtrip of riding my motorcycle across the U.S. The majority of my nights were spent in a tent! Thought I'd treat myself since it was on my route and the price was excellent; but looking back, (I intended to do this review w/in a couple of days) I would have paid double just for the experience. Donna is a jewel of a human being, AND a great cook. AND she let me hide my Harley that was loaded down with camping gear on her patio in back. WHAT A GAL!!! I can't say enough good things about this B&B or it's hostess! I just hope life affords me the opportunity to return to Platte some day and spend some more quality time with this wonderful lady.

Donna was great! We were coming through and called last minute. She was very friendly. The place was very homey. Would definitely stay again and recommend staying here!

We had an family supper there. It's was AWESOME! Also the next day. We had a 80th Birthday Open House. Donna was top notch in her service and food.
