My recent experience working with Jaywana was nothing short of amazing. She's professional and compassionate. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and she also followed up with me to make sure I submitted the appropriate documentation. She really cares. Taking care of VA stuff can be overwhelming and I am thankful for Jaywana's dedication to her job and for making my experience easy. I highly recommend her and the Nash County Veteran Office!!

I went here after just having surgery on my leg, I was feeling down until I came here. Had an amazing experience and felt that they listened to me and understood what I was going through. Anytime I had a question or problem, they were there to help with an answer. If their was a 10 star review I could give I would, great group from the time you walk into the office.

I have to say that Nash County Veterans Services is one of the best around. Everyone from the secretary to the VSO's.
Anthony Roger's is very knowledgeable about the VBA and helped me out alot from the start of my journey. I went in not knowing anything about the system and with the team of Anthony and Jaywana they got me what I deserve.
Anytime I called the secretary would take my information and they always got back in touch with me in reasonable time, if not by call by email.
Whenever I called I left the message for Anthony because he is who I worked with from the start. If he didn't get back with me Jaywana Powell would return my call. Alot of the time I would make an appointment to go in and Jaywana would contact me and take care of it over the phone. She really saved me alot of time doing this. She is great to work with and talk to. She makes everything as easy as possible for the Veteran.
I want to send out a special thanks to the whole team. I would recommend that if you need to talk to anyone about VA benefits this team is the one to get in contact with.

Out of nowhere, God sent Jawana Powell into my wife's life a couple of years ago. Little did I know that she would become a huge part of fixing the broken chain I had trying to get help with my VA benefits. After working diligently with Jawana and the whole VA office, I was able to get the benefits that I needed. Thank you so much to the entire VA team but even more to God for putting Jawana in my life to assist with what the government made hard.

I had an appointment with Anthony today and it was by far the best interaction I've had with a VA Representative. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It's good to know that some people still have our back.

FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & EFFECTIVE FOR VETERANS

The Veterans Services Team at Nash County, NC was extremely helpful in assisting me to file for my Veterans Health Benefits and Pension. Ann took my phone call and was very friendly and supportive, gave me a list of documents that I needed to bring, and quickly organized an in-person appointment for me in their office.

I met with the Director of Veterans Services in Nash County, Anthony Rogers, who is a veteran himself. He is not only friendly, but very knowledgeable about how to navigate the sometimes complicated paperwork required to file for different Veteran's benefits. With Anthony Roger's expert help, I was quickly approved for VA Health Benefits!

Nash County is very fortunate to have such a helpful and efficient team to help our Veterans with all of their various needs. A big thanks to fellow Veteran, Anthony Rogers, who is the role model for what Veteran Services around the Country should be. I hope to work with him again in the near future, to help address the problem of affordable housing for Veterans who have experienced homelessness in our area and accross our nation.

Highly professional and knowledgeable. And as a veteran himself, Anthony Rogers could completely understand what I was going through and how best to assist me with my claim. He took the time to answer all of my questions and to ensure that I understood the process. Often times, as a veteran, you feel misunderstood and forgotten. Definitely not the case with Mr. Rogers. He believes in veterans helping veterans. I definitely would recommend him to all of my fellow service folks for guidance.

Anthony is absolutely amazing!! He has been so helpful with any questions I have had and very quick with his responses. Without him this would have been much harder to do. Anthony is very professional in everything he does. If you have any concerns or feeling unsure of how to handle your VA Benefits, then you definitely want Anthony!! My family would have been lost, if not for Mr. Rogers' assistance, after my father's passing. Anthony was personable and helpful, well beyond what was expected. As I have seen in a previous review, he is a God Send to the Veterans Services Office. I have been to Durham for assistance, but my best experience has been with Tyler and Anthony in Nashville. Anthony should be the model for how Veterans should be treated.
