Mahylon's

Took a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in Muskogee and he said he would come here when he was younger. This place did not disappoint!

The waitresses were spot on and friendly. We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks. They were not much selections with regards to appetizers so I ordered fries & onion rings. The onion rings were great however, at $7.59 I'm not exactly sure of the price, but they were exactly what I wanted in an onion ring.

I chose the Two Meat Combo, Turkey & Chopped Brisket w/Potato Salad & Cole Slaw. Both meats were delicious and the Cole Slaw was a true hit! The Potato Salad was also good.

Everyone in the group liked what they got so a big shout out to Mahylon's for the excellent lunch.

Even I was checking out thy the waitress days she had been working there for 27 years! Then she began to tell me dinner off the highlights on the menu. I wish I had the opportunity to go back and try them. Who knows I may just take a day trip up to grab lunch week my wife!

My recommendation is if you are in Muskogee or just passing through and love barbecue this is a must try!!!

Welp, this place strives to make you feel at home, and does a great job at it. Food, atmosphere, and service. You just have to come here, and enjoy it all. Worth the time and money. Our waitress was very comforting, even the owner came around to say hello. We left there full and happy. We'll definitely be back. We were never left wondering if we'll get a refill, they asked us if we were enjoying our food, asked if we wanted togo drink's, I mean what's next, investment offers (just being funny), I mean it's not that hard to give customer service, and this place amongst only a few others are winners here. We'll be back just because.

Having a brief stay here in Muskogee and decided to give Mahlyon's a try. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time there with the lovely attentive service from staff and really good food.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Owner stopped by our table multiple times to check on us. Great atmosphere. Beautiful wood restaurant. Food was really good. The sides were super flavorful. Their super spicy BBQ sauce called "The Maniac" was my absolute favorite! Worth the try if you like spicy foods. Carolina Reaper 🌶 peppers.

Very calm atmosphere, the brisket falls apart in your mouth. The perfect texture !!! I am normally not a meat eater, so when I tell you this meat is the best by far, I truly mean it. I have eaten food all over the United States and I have never had a brisket this good. The okra is crisp and not mush. Fabulous!!

First time to eat here. Wanted to surprise my wife, who had been laid up this week, and loves steak.
Wasn't sure about it, but let me tell you, it was great.
Locally owned since 95 (how many owners come sit down and visit with you)?
Neat, clean place serves all kinds of food but mainly barbecue and steaks.
The young lady who seated us was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
We ordered ten oz. strips, and when they brought them out, you could tell they were going to be good.
As stated before, my wife loves steak, and by the time she was in her second bite, she was nodding her head, and saying it was great steak.
I took my first bite, and it was truly a pleasure to the taste buds. I normally use some 57 sauce with my steak but this was better without. The seasoning they cook it in is excellent.
Afterwards, we had banana pudding, and it was even excellent.
My only complaint, if you want to call it that, was the baked potato was big, but needed more butter. I ordered it loaded, and it came out that way, but just didn't have quite enough shoe cream and butter. Didn't matter much, I couldn't eat the entire thing anyway.
I highly recommend this place.
I left there with a good feeling and full stomach.

Went on a small plane trip around the mid-west with a friend. Stopped in Muskogee for a night and had some awesome food.

The menu was large, and the food portions were too. The 3 meat combo was a terrific price, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

I was over halfway through my meal when I noticed I could get a 3rd meat for $1 more. They were gracious enough to bring me a plate of brisket for a buck.

I picked up some of the rub while I was there. I stretched it out about a year with my briskets, but I've been out for a few months now.

This place is just about worth the 820 mile flight just for the food. I will definitely be making a detour if I'm even remotely close.

Amazing food. First time here and I was greeted with smile. I ordered the 3 meat and it was delicious. 5 stars from me.

The food is great, especially those fried mushrooms! The service is amazing and everyone is super friendly! Highly recommended!

I don’t get to go to Mahylon’s very often but it is always worth the wait. Awesome food,roomy, great atmosphere and the service is unbeatable! My favorite in Muskogee!

I never leave Muskogee without going to Mahylon’s. The “Rex Earl” salad is a must have - and named for the legendary lawyer, Rex Earl Starr.

We had an absolute amazing experience! My son is autistic and has trouble with loud noise and to many people and usually wont eat at restaurants. He loved it and actually ate at the restaurant! The server we had was amazing and so sweet. The owner was so kind and gave suggestions for next time even after we told him our food was amazing. Will definitely dine again!

Great ribs and meats! Great burgers! Love their regular and spicy BBQ sauce!

Went for lunch quick service and great food. Waitstaff was very attentive to our needs.

We ordered the strip steak, hot links, brisket, beans, bologna. Everything we ate was good. We enjoyed ourselves, Thank you!

On my last visit, it was a group of about 15. Everything was great. My fish and chips basked, was really extra. Almost doggie bag left overs. However, I did force myself to finish. :)

They have it on their sign and it's not bragging. QUALITY. Enough said. Thank you, for a great meal! I had the Salmon and it was perfect! The sauce served with it is a wonderful surprise. You will have to discover your it yourself! You pay for what you get so don't be surprised.

YOUVE GOTTA EAT HERE!!! We stopped by after a long day of travel and the owner, Kenny was seriously the nicest person ever. We’ve never had an owner of a restaurant personally thank us for eating there and ask us our experience in such a kind manner. The bbq was good but the BLUEBERRY LEMON bread pudding was out of this world amazing. Everyone was so nice! Will definitely be back.
