First, the service was incredible. We ordered fried mushrooms(first pic) and they were the biggest most delicious mushrooms we have ever eaten! Our steaks were perfect and thick, juicy WONDERFUL. The asparagus was fresh and the salad bar was great! We also ordered fried fish that was also perfect. And the price CANNOT be beat! This will be our new date night spot!

Stopped in for dinner this evening while being out of town with friends for business. Decided to try the all you can eat buffet and was very pleased. The ribs, brisket, fried chicken, polish sausage, and every side was amazing! If your in the area and looking for good homestyle food, this is a great place for you! Very clean and tighty. The staff was very friendly, my waitress was very polite and sweet. I ate so much that I jokingly had to ask for a belly rub... Lol! Great place all around....Give it a try!! 👍👍 I myself thought everything was delicious 😋

Very good I was happily surprised. Food was great and service was great. Got the ribeye and it was cooked nicely.

This is a great place I recently rediscovered. I ate their with some frequency in the early 80's, when I was regularly taking deliveries in and around Cushing. After living in other areas and doing different jobs since then, I found myself in Cushing again a few months ago and wanted to find out what it was like now. When I pulled up, I noticed the outside of the building was much, if not exactly, how I remembered it. Going on through the door, I couldn't believe how dead on the inside aligned with my memories of it. The only thing left was to try the food. I remembered eating really good chicken fried steak there before, so I ordered that. I got the large version, figuring I could get two meals out of it for the extra three bucks it cost. They brought me a really delicious steak, again just like I remembered it being from years before. And plenty big for two big meals to come from it. This place is truly a time capsule!
Last Saturday night, December 30, my wife and I, along with another couple from Tulsa that we are friends with, met another couple from Shawnee there. This was barbecue & fried chicken buffet night, so we got that. We were all very pleased with our whole experience. Our waiter was great, atmosphere was perfect, and the food all excellent. We enjoyed it all, and had a nice evening visiting friends, too.

I'm from Tennessee and staying in Oklahoma temporarily for my job. I was hungry and decided to stop by and dine in at the Steer Inn Restaurant in Cushing, Oklahoma. I have to say that the restuarant was very clean and the staff as well as my waitress was very friendly, professional, and attentive to any questions that I had about the menu. I ordered the 1lb Jalapeno Fried Chicken Dinner with my sides being tater tots and onion rings and when my order came out everything was very fresh and enough for two people. I can't believe the amount and size of the onions for one of my sides because normally you only get 3 to four small onion rings and wondering did I get shorted but not here. I couldn't eat everything that I ordered and had to ask for a to go plate. The food was great and customer service was outstanding. Thank you Steer Inn for a memorable experience at your restaurant.

2nd time at Steer Inn, and it was great all the way around.

Went in for lunch. Our server was great. She would make sure we were OK and needed anything as fast as a frog on a fly. My husband got the grilled jalapeño chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. I myself got the Southwest grilled chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes. There are onions, bell peppers, cheese, and Pico de galo on it that blends in amazing with the juicy tender chicken.

We drove 45min just for the homemade onion rings. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Had the shrimp also it was good. But get them onion ring appetizer and ask for Tucker he was an amazing host. I will post pics of my food.

Enjoyed my chicken fried steak and fried squash with some Cushing relatives on a quiet Sunday evening. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Still enjoy the salad bar which is hard to find in restaurants these days. Good ole' Steer Inn!!

Found this place on accident. The food is excellent, the service depends on who you get. Some are great, others not so much. But the sunday brunch buffet makes it not matter

Every time I have eaten there I have no complaints. The food is wonderful along with the service. Usually I have to take some food home. Very good

2023 Update
We came back this year. Tucker still there but we had another waitress and she was great too! We went with the buffet this time. Great value at $20 each. Nothing on the buffet was not cooked to perfection! Salad bar, fried chicken, cabbage rolls, salsbury steak, fried cat fish, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, seasoned green beans, cobblers, big cookies and ice cream!
Great big dinner and delicious!

3 words ... grilled jalapeño chicken get it on a sandwiche or plate or a salad like I did. Amazing.
Sadly no margarita to go with it.
Great service .. Tucker rocks!!!

Macie was our waitress. Great service, great food. Hot food and delicious catfish, chicken fried steak.
The butter was room temperature so didn't make the rolls cold or my potato. Most restaurants don't realize the butter cools the food! Our new go to place when are in the area.

My expectations (which are high) were exceeded. NY Strip steak medium rare was a quality steak cooked to perfection. Looked so good I forgot to snap a pic. Wait staff were very attentive but not bothersome. Others in my group had the buffet and they were very pleased with it. Overall great experience.

Great food year after year. The lunch time buffet is really good.

I can't say enough how good my hamburger steak was. My son got a jalapeno burger and there was so many fries! Got out of there at a very reasonable cost. Had no problem getting in either.

Stopped by while passing through town on my way home from vacation. Had my daughter, dad, and stepmother with me and we all enjoyed the buffet. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the cobbler was insanely good. I'll have to take another vacation soon so I have an excuse to come back and try the prime rib. Also our waitress was the best.

Servers are lead by experienced staff, food is good atmosphere is calm w music in background. Always enjoy Ster Inn.
