Definitely go to this surgeon if you have a choice! The man is just great at what he does. I truly believe God gave him this talent...and he's most definitely where he's supposed to be by helping sick ppl get better. Thanks so much again Doc Hood

My mother had knee replacement surgery from Dr. Hood. From the first time my mom saw Dr. Hood, he he been above and beyond one of the best doctors she has ever seen. His staff is kind, caring, and and very thorough. They handled all of the prior authorizations with little to no help from our family. The medical care she has received has been outstanding. His staff has gone way out of their way to help with all of her follow-up care postoperatively. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this office and Dr. Hood himself. We have had an excellent experience! I recommend anyone and everyone to Dr Hood and his office!! I would personally like to acknowledge Brittany for her outstanding care and help she has provided.

I have seen Dr Hood several times and he did surgery on my shoulder. Unfortunately I have torn the shoulder again and if my new insurance company will approve it he is going to do the surgery on it again. He has been so kind as has his office staff.

Doctor Hood is simply the best. Experienced, friendly, simply in a class by himself. Cindy too!

First, the employee that checks people in and out is incredibly rude. No hello or have a nice day. She never once said anything polite. Since she talks to every patient twice I can't believe she's allowed to have that job.

Dr. Hood performed 2 surgeries on me. The first one was releasing a frozen shoulder. I was in horrific pain afterward. After my follow up I was told to take it easy, it would get better. I got a call after leaving the office that they'd discovered he'd broken my arm during the procedure. When I went back in there was no apology, just a comment that it happens a lot.

It was discovered in an MRI that I had a labrum and rotator cuff tear and needed another surgery. When his office called to confirm the surgery they only mentioned fixing the labrum. I asked to speak to Dr. Hood the day of the surgery to ask while he was in there to fix both tears. I also talked to him about my allergy to Percocet and asked for something different for my pain. I woke up to find out he hadn't touched the rotator cuff tear and I had a prescription for Percocet. At my follow-up I asked for a different pain pill because I was miserable and he prescribed Tramadol. When I picked up the pills I found out it is Ultram which I'm also allergic to. It says all over my information that it's an allergy.

I was encouraged by many people to leave Muskogee to have my arm fixed and I wish I had listened. The only bright spot of my time with Dr. Hood was his sweet nurse. I wish I knew her name because she was the only person who treated me kindly and made me feel comfortable.
