My grandfather graduated in the high school class of 1932! He went to college, became a teacher, a coach, a principal, and a Superintendent! He retired from Texas City ISD. I guess Ridley did just fine with him!!

Love our little home town school where everyone takes care of everyone. The teachers work so hard for the kids even spending their hard earn money to buy things that are needed like socks for kids classroom needs ect....

Teachers don't care, excessive bullying with no consequences, a lot of classes end up just going to the baseball fields or basketball court instead of actually learning because teachers have to double as coaches, 95% of the staff just doesn't care. Constant drug/tobacco use and distribution (baseball dugout during high school lunch is where a lot of it goes down). Constant fights. Irrelevant rules that are only enforced by a few teachers (if you are going to have rules all of your staff needs to enforce them). There is definitely a large devide between the students that the staff likes and the students that they don't. Athletes and cheerleaders seem to not have to conform to some rules such as dress code, truancy, eligibility, etc while everyone else still gets into trouble. The school has no concept of where the money they have needs to go (Gym add-ons, new playground, new auditorium, etc when they should be putting more money into supplies and equipment to make the learning experience easier and more engaging for students). Being a school in the middle of the bible belt they push religion *a lot* which i belive should not he aloud in schools at all. And there is much much much much more wrong that I haven't listed. I am not surprised that more and more students are leaving the school for alternitaves such as online schooling or home schooling.

This school is so annoying. I do not understand why it is such a big deal to wear a hat if there are no visible words or symbols that mean bad stuff.
