Just when you thought you had had the best BBQ…. Runts will re inspire you… the best tasting ribs and brisket this side of the Mississippi!!! All sides and meat taste really home made without additives!!!

I usually get the ribs (which are by far the best around) but this time my wife got the ribs and I went for the fried shrimp. OMG! They weren't only the best, but also were huge! 12 humongous fried shrimp! Trying to watch my weight, but this is going to make it difficult! 😋

Omg! Some of the best ribs I have ever had in my life. Juicy, meaty slid off the bone tender ribs, that still had 'bite' to them. Excellent ribs!
Their brisket was excellent as well. Meaty, fork tender, held together long enough to get to your mouth.
We will be back again the next time we come down this way. Might even get some more for the way home.

Runt's is awesome! They not only catered our wedding but this is the only place in Muskogee we get our BBQ from....unless I smoke it myself! Hands down awesome 100 out of 100 stars if it were possible! Friendly wait staff and awesome homemade pies! Don't miss out on this awesome eatery!

Wow! Everything was absolutely amazing.
Our table had salad, liver and onions, brisket, catfish, bacon cheese fries. Everything was perfect and the quality was super. The staff is very pleasant and the cook is AWESOME!. THANK YOU! For excellent food and service. We will definitely stop in again when we travel back through Muskogee. The portions and price were super, they have many options, something to please everyone. I only wished we were so full so we could have tried the deserts, I can only imagine how wonderful they are, maybe next time.

Service, is great, Brandy took care of me and she was very attentive. Food is great, I got the all you can eat which I got with ribs, sliced brisket, and fish. The sliced brisket for me was a little dry, so I opted to try the burnt ends instead. TRY THE BURNT ENDS. The green beans were so good, as was the mac and cheese, and the okra. The fish was good, but can be found at any other regular restaurant that sells fried fish. I recommend this spot and will definitely stop by again when I get the chance. So far this is the best barbecue that I’ve tried and beats North Carolina, Kansas, and Texas’s. -sincerely a Texan who likes barbecue

Runts was recommended by a local and it was spot on. I had sliced brisket that was fresh and tasty. My wife had the ribs that were fall-off-the-bone dee-lishus. The service was rapid and friendly. We had chocolate cream pie for dessert that our hostess assured us was freshly made that very day and it was to die for. When in Muskogee, you must pay a visit to Runts.

This was the best BBQ experience I have ever had. ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR $18.99!?! I left fat and happy for sure. The turkey was juicy with just the right amount of smoke, the brisket was fatty and tender, and the spicy sausage was on point. I cannot recommend this place more!

Great service with lots of options. I got the pick 3 with Mac and black eyed peas. This came with two ribs 3 slices of brisket and onefilled. Of blackened catfish. I also got peach cobbler for dessert. For the price this was generous. My favourite was the ribs. I cut up the brisket and mixed it in the mac which was amazing. The catfish was my least favourite. It was too salted is all. The cobbler was okay but j wish I would have got the chocolate pie.

Was our first time! The food was excellent! My favorite was the ribs, fall off the bone smokey goodness! The place is nice and clean, decor is so cute! A woodsy feel in the heart of Oklahoma! Definitely recommend this place!

We stop here on our way from Joplin to Dallas. Today we tried the BBQ Nachos with burnt ends and brisket. It did not disappoint! The serving size was more than enough for my husband and me and the meat was super tender. We really enjoy this place.

Best I've had in a while. Will make the drive and wait in line again. It's that good. We were told it would be 50min wait. Started to leave but was advised it was worth the wait by another person. Bless them.

They had an amazingly diverse menu. Everyone was happy with their food. I had a steak with black-eyed peas and potato salad, and my steak was cooked exactly as I liked it, and the sides were great. Also, I loved that they employed a differently abled gentleman and appeared to give sandwiches to the homeless folks who came in. We will definitely return.

Lunch Special: Burnt Ends, one side (potato salad), and a drink (sweet tea), The Food was amazing, definitely worth stopping and trying.

Soul food! So good! Great portions and wonderful staff. Highly recommend a visit if your ever in the area.

Stopped in while in Muskogee on the recommendation of a friend.

I wasn't as hungry as usual so I split an appetizer and tried their hot links. Everything was flavorful and worth ordering.

Hopefully I get back around that way to try some other items.

I love that the napkin holders have scripture verses on them. The waitress was perfect. The food was so good. I got the burnt ends. They were so good. The baked potato was so good. My wife got the chicken strips. The portion of chicken was massive. I love the wall decor as well. I will be back here. Try the sheet cake if they have it.
