Walking in was nice! Big comfy booths, good for privacy and comfort. I enjoy the fried catfish po boy and I added their awesome coleslaw. Must try it! Portion size are big, so make sure you're super hungry before going in. The batter overall on their food is very crispy and tasty. Not salty. Not overly seasoned. I like it that way. Steak are okay, I'm a big steak eater but their main dish of catfish was delicious.

Very good food , large portions for the price . Our waitress was very tentive , and our dinners was out quick , and freshly made . They must have a new crew , our waitress said that she was fairly new . Definitely my new go to , when I want a home-cooked meal that I don't have to cook .

I was just passing through town heading southbound on the 64 and I seen this place at the last minute. I hit the Jake break and made a hard left Turn when I caught a glimpse of the catfish sign.
Once I parked my truck, I stumbled on out and wobbled my way into the place Fat roll and all.

I got the catfish and it was beyond delicious fresh crispy and I also got some crawfish and fried okra which was made to order so they were nice and crunchy. highly recommend. give this place a shot I think you’re gonna love it.

4.5 really but the service and friendly staff tipped it to 5 stars.
Excellent food. Two adults and teens enjoyed the buffet. Picky 10 year old stuck to a kids meal, which she was very happy with.
Frequently refilled items at the buffet ($16/per person and well worth it if you hungry like we were after a full day at the renaissance faire) which had a nice variety. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, beans, rice, green beans, frog legs, peach cobbler, deviled eggs, salad, highly recommend the homemade tamales, fried clams, catfish, shrimp scampi, gumbo and hush puppies.
Only cons were sticky floors, and the back seating area by the hot food got quite warm as we finished our delicious meals. The AC kicked on high as we were leaving. The staff was super attentive and put the air on (we were the only ones that area).
Great end to a great day.

Best food in town and further. Love this place so much. People here are always so nice and the food is always spot on. I would eat here every day if i could.

Interesting menu. I chose what turned out to be a very good fried catfish sandwich, very good green beans as a side. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.

Reasonable prices , they offer a good selection , and our waitress was on top of things without having to track her down .

Homestyle cheese burger is the bomb! If you like crispy try the generous portions of tater tots.

The dinner buffet was great!! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. There were lots of choices, but the best was the roasted chicken legs (fall off the bone). We also enjoyed the fried catfish, tamales, meatloaf, beans, etc. The staff were also very kind and made you feel welcome. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Went there for my birthday. They always have different specials. Great portion sizes.

This is a great restaurant nice atmosphere very friendly and helpful staff I got a family style burger with cheese and bacon that was a full pound double burger fries and a large tea for less than it would cost at any fast food place if you are in the Muskogee area I highly recommend Catfish Ranch for great food

Ok, here goes:
We travel thru Muskogee 4 or 5 times a year. Going from Missouri to Texas to see our Grandson. Always want to stop but it never hits a mealtime. Well today it did!! I read the previous reviews. Here's mine:
Loved the people. Kind open and generous. We felt very welcome. My husband got the catfish meal and I got the catfish sandwich. Both fried. Excellent fish, but for us it could have been seasoned better. But still excellent. Husbands mashed potatoes were instant so nothing to brag about. Hushpuppies, slaw and okra very good. I had onion rings with my sandwich. Very good. All in all a very good choice for our lunch. The best part was the service. We are from Southwestern Missouri and I am always teased about my accent but I couldn't hold a candle to these wonderful people. Every one who walked by spoke to is us and made sure we were doing good. The young man who took my money was very polite and kind and a cutie patootie. One last thing. The decorations were very neatly done in a country style but my husband and I both commented on the restroom decorations. Who ever did the Womens did an awesome job. So cute and very hip country! The Mens apparently went more down a humorous hunting theme. Recommend you stop and give it a try!

We were having some issues with our motor home and they welcomed us like family the chicken and fish dinners were excellent. They certainly extended ever courtesy that they could. Google only lets us go to 5 stars but the food is five stars, the serve is five stars and the caring they showed is five stars for a total of 15 stats!!!!’

We were driving through and had to grab dinner. The patty melt was delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. The open face hot beef sandwich was great too. Service was wonderful even with them being short handed. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in town.

Ordered All-you-can-eat catfish dinner, expecting small pieces of fish. The catfish fillets were 8inches long. Didn't need second round. Got a to go bag. Lots of food, good pricing and cozy atmosphere.
