Los 3 Amigos Norteños

We are so thrilled to find this wonderful restaurant in Prosperity, SC. The owner is so gracious, always welcoming us and all patrons, and the staff is wonderful. This is not "chain-food Mexican." The ingredients are fresh, and the seafood is delicious. They have a constant carry-out that speaks of their reputation. Every meal we have tried has been exceptional. The portions are so generous that we usually take a box home. The rice is very fluffy and has a great flavor! The chips they bring out immediately are warm and the salsa tasty.

I've been there three times now and have explored the menu. I found the food to be very tasty, delicious and plentiful and my wife likes it too.
Update: 7-28-2022 We went there for supper yesterday evening and met the new manager, His nickname is " Chewy" and his pride and care in service and food was immediately evident. The food was fabulous and well prepared he was not too busy and we spoke with him at length. He has really stepped up the quality and taste of the food and now this place is very highly recommended, it is a must try if you're in the area and is worthy of travel if you are not. 👍

This place is a real find. I'm from So. Calif. and grew up eating Mexican. Great food. Bean & rice are wonderful. Chili rellenos (how I judge MR's) are incredible. Plus the family is super nice.

Excellent Mexican Food! Under new management, hadn’t been in awhile, but have been missing out! Food & service was excellent! Ordered the Deep Fried Burrito & it was soooo yummy! Definitely going to be a usual for my family & I, from here on out! Everything that my family ordered was very fresh and prepared perfectly! Also, the Pollo Fundido (shredded) was more than enough, fresh, and tasted really good! Give this place a try, since it has new management…. You should not be disappointed!

I got the steak n mushroom dish and it has cheese. My fiance got the Hawaiian fajita. Both were amazing. Will be coming back again.

Only ate here twice, and my food has been amazing.

This Mexican restaurant NEVER ceases to amaze me. We are literally in there at least weekly if not more and the food is always great. Service is always great and the atmosphere is always there. Absolutely love this place.

We had dinner at Los 3 Amigos Norteños for the first time tonight and everything was fabulous! Excellent service, amazing food, and a great atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is quiet and peaceful not loud. It is clean. The staff are friendly. The food tastes really good too! It could be a romantic place with you and your significant other if that's what you're looking for.
The waiter was very polite and on his toes.
The cheese dip was the best I've had yet!
I ordered tacos azada. Perfect!
...and no used chips in my basket like some other Mexican restaurantI've been to lately! (Not lying)
We went at about 4 so it was not crowded at all.
The AC could've been a bit cooler, for me it was a little warm inside.

Very nice place - very nice people. Food and service were excellent. We would highly recommend. I had the #11 and my son had two chicken tacos that he really enjoyed. Chips and salsa were complimentary, fresh and spicey just like you'll like them. Loved the big portrait on the wall ... remembering the old Perry's Back Porch that used to be in the building for decades. I remember when Mom & Dad had that painting commissioned in 1984. It was good to see it again.

Update....Went on 8/24/23 during the Newberry county fair. Wayyyy cheaper and better than the fair, too.

Good food, friendly service, decent prices.

Very good. The owners have worked in Newberry and bring good experience in the Mexican Food Business to Prosperity. Yes, they are just starting out, and have some work to do, but I enjoyed it very much. I wish them well.

Love this place! Affordable, yummy food and friendly staff. Not too long a wait time for your order either most of the time!

Friendly staff, great drink selection and food is great.

Waitress was great, gave me suggestions when I asked and their hamburger steak was twice the size of other places, thick and delicious. When your in the area it is a great place!
