Absolutely love love love. Country, scenic, quiet, and family oriented. Waters are very calm and you will naturally want to whisper as you meander onto the Cumberland River.

Great spot for picnicing, boating,fishing, kayaking, and pitching a hammock or reading a book/journaling.

Please when you come and visit do take good care of this park. Don't litter. Don't blast music. Cops will cite you and people will tell you to pick up after yourself.

Wonderful and quiet. Great place to have a BBQ, or other get together. Plenty of room to play some lawn games, or fist from the shore.
Also the lake is quiet and a perfect place for kayaking.

There's plenty of fish, and shade trees. It's a nice and comfortable area to just set and relax to get your thoughts together. Vary peaceful. I've been going to this area for 30years, one of my favorite. There's also a country store near by that has almost everything inside, with a restaurant.

Weekends are packed. Weekdays are great if you want to avoid crowds. This place is great for clearing the mind and enjoying peace and solitude during the week. Great fishing.
