First four miles are paved with lots of shade and good views.

We went there last week. All the leaves are changing dolors slowly. I think in the mid of Nov we will be able to see beautiful fall foliage here. Such a nice peaceful place for walking and relaxing. Just be careful, watch your steps please! we saw a long snake opening its mouth, staying in the middle of the trail. 😂

Great trail to run on. Beautiful, simple, felt safe, mostly level/flat terrain. My favorite sections are those squeezed between the water and sheet rock. Super beautiful and fun to run. Wished there were more trails like this. The path I took was about 6.5miles out.

We are blessed with eight miles of the most beautiful trails following the Cumberland river. I love the wonderful colors in the fall, the abundant waterfowl in the winter, the unbelievable wild flowers in the spring and the welcome shade in the summer.

Top notch trail along the river with plenty of shelter from the sun and light rain.

Our hiking group timed it so that we could possibly be on this Trail when the little flowers were at the peak of blooming. The flowers were lovely and the Cascades were enjoyable also.

Love walking here. Most of the path is paved, but there is a good 4ish mile section along the river closer to the dam & campground area that is not paved. It's nice and flat, very easy walk and the scenery is beautiful. Great place to walk with your dogs.

Fabulous. Wheelchair friendly mostly. A couple bridges were a little sketch but they held up. I love the seating areas placed throughout the trail if you need a break. My only grip has to do with the young men on dirt bikes trying to meet their death riding behind reversing vehicles from the hills.

My favorite walking trail- there's always something happening between wintering waterfowl, plants blooming alongside the trail, or fall foliage. While some construction has made the south end less pleasant than previously (removing all the trees atop a bluff and letting much of the soil wash out and down), the rest of the trail is extremely pleasant and retains the 5 stars.

This paved trail is so relaxing. For the most part it's covered with trees. It's the old train tracks and the trail has several bridges. About a mile and a half in there is a garden with restrooms.

This is a beautiful walk to see the rock formations and the bridge over the water.

Great place to go for a walk/run. I usually go after work and it is not very busy. I like that it isn’t very busy so then I can let my dog run around. However there are a lot of snakes during the warmer months so be mindful of that if you take pets. The trail is paved between Chapmansboro rd.

Gorgeous. Very scenic trail especially when the wildflowers are in bloom as they were on April 20 when we visited. The surface rates only a D with lots of heaves on the blacktop portion. The gravel portion is no better but the scenery makes it worthwhile. You will want to go slow anyway.

Really really love this greenway! Seems to be the least crowded one around here, and all of nature is epic. You can legit hear all of the animals while you're walking 😁🫣

Watching the birds fish in the river from the bridge was so exciting.

Very nice trail. Paved, still in good shape, and fairly flat over all. Good running trail. I think it's about 4.5 miles one way. There are half mile markers on the side.
