Recommended the combo sandwich and it was good, just enough heat from the links. Had the cake too and it tasted good. Very nice and friendly.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The swamp cabbage is AMAZING. Brisket is the perfect balance of tender and juicy, NOT greasy like their competitors. Prices are great. Can't wait to go back!

Honestly the best BBQ I've had in Texas. Ribs fell of bone with a flavorful bark, Chicken was juicy and crispy. Corn and potato salad beat my wife's. This definitely won't be our last time at Spoons. Oh and fantastic hotlinks. Look here for hotlinks instead of JB's

Spoon’s BBQ is excellent! His brisket are the best I have eaten in East Texas, tender and flavorful. His barbecue ribs are smoked so you get the real flavor of southern smoked, tender pork ribs. He makes his own BBQ sauce as well so ask for EXTRA BBQ SAUCE! Get the dinner plate with the beans and potato salad! You can’t go wrong with this one. Enjoy!

I towed a pickup for this guy to his place of business. I had not had anything to eat all day. He offered me a BBQ plate and it was really good. If You are in the Lone Star, Tx area stop by for a bite to eat. You will enjoy it. Tell him the Tow Truck Driver sent you. Great Cooking.

Wow!! Amazing food! Swamp Cabbage is my new favorite! This is a must try place!! Not only is food amazing, the owner is fantastic! You don’t feel like you are at restaurant, but at their house enjoying a cookout with amazing food!

Delicious! Absolutely love the sweet slightly spicy barbecue sauce. Chip beef is tender. And the swamp cabbage is like the best southern comfort food I have had. I will be back 😋

Hands down best food for at least 100 miles! I can’t even begin to imagine why the Swamp Cabbage hasn’t been featured in at LEAST Texas Monthly. Seriously folks; I wouldn’t hesitate to drive hours for this smoked bliss!

Best brisket nachos I’ve ever had. The brisket, chicken, swamp cabbage, beans, everything was great. Super place with super friendly folk. Love it. Get you som Cherry cobbler whole you’re at it.

I’m a truck driver. Was just passing through. Soooo glad I stopped here!!! Had a chopped brisket sandwich, potato salad, and the “swamp cabbage”. Everything tasted absolutely delicious 😍 Staff were friendly and service was quick. Nice clean place. I will CERTAINLY stop here again next time I come this way. As close to backyard BBQ as it gets!!!..potato salad and swamp cabbage is so close to my own...I just buy theirs!!!...I was raised at county line...southwest of lone star...wished it was there when I was a kid!!
