The Onion Rings or Cordon Blue Balls make great starters. Or you could go for the Salad or Bean bar for healthier options.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch as we're just passing through and were pleasantly surprised.
The chicken fried chicken was one of the most flavorful pieces I've had in years and the salad bar was fantastic.
The waitstaff was as friendly as one could imagine in a small town and we appreciated it.

Excellent restaurant. We were visiting from out of state. Water good local food - a non chain restaurant. The items we ordered exceeded our expectations. Delicious. Service was great. We each had a margarita. Superb !

The sailor's platter was really good and hit the spot. Everything was fried to perfection without being greasy. The bar was good, but way too loud. I could barely hear the bartender at the best of times.

Very good food and service. It was a stop on our way home and we will definitely be back when visiting corpus. We had broiled fish and shrimp and both very delish. Our son liked the chicken strips. They have this white gravy that seems to go with everything.

Food was decent. Good portion for price. Salade bar was a change of view. Better way to go. Service was EXCELLENT!!! Not only was my waitress on point and constantly checking on my, but others were making sure we were well kept up with while we waited for out food to come out. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. Different and unexpected from what you see on outside view. Made you feel semi-relaxed. I recommended this restaurant to anyone needing a change of pace.

We dined in today. Food was delicious as usual. Our server was Marissa. She was so polite and greeted us with a smile. She made sure we had what we needed and kept checking on us.

Great food, the waitress was delightful and the atmosphere was great. Its expensive 15 for the grilled diablo chicken. Great for the family, date, or business meeting.
