Best Western Plus Lakeview Hotel

A really nice hotel with great rooms and a friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was very good with a wide assortment of items to select from. There is a bar on site that also serves pizza and sandwiches. I had the King size suite with kitchenette. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was stocked with everything you would need to feel at home,,, including a dishwasher. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in the area.

Such a beautiful hotel. Clean rooms. Awesome continental breakfast. The citrus smelling soap was a wonderful touch. Courteous staff. The only flaw was every time we left our room, the keys wouldn't work so we had to ask the staff to help open our door. Which they did, with no questions and without grief. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus!
Wish we could have stayed longer, next hotel stay we will be staying here again!

I know in the picture it won't look clean... But this was after a pool trip and towels were everywhere as me, my husband, and 4 children were here! 😀😀

Melisa at the front desk absolutely makes this place like home. We called and Melisa treated us like she knew us from the second she picked up. Then when we checked in and it felt like we’ve been there 10 times. Best service I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The property is spotless as well! I would not consider staying anywhere else in Madison.

I'm going out of my way to write a review, as this was one of the best experiences we have had at a hotel. Our daughter's soccer team was in the region for a tournament last weekend.

Her team had early games on both Saturday and Sunday and needed to depart the hotel early. Hotel staff came in early to set up the continental breakfast for the team. Not only did staff open up early, they were incredibly friendly and courteous. The breakfast itself was excellent, with a variety of great options for families on the run (eggs, potatoes, yogurt, pancakes, cereal, fruit, etc). In the main lobby, there was complimentary water (garnished with lemons) available with coffee at all times.

In addition to great service, the Hotel was incredibly clean. This includes the pool, workout facility, and the rooms.

We are now on vacation in the Pacific NW. I wish the Best Western Premier we are currently staying at went out of its way to welcome customers like the one we visited in Madison.

Very clean, well kept hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is fantastic, definitely challenges other chains like Hilton. Food options for dinner are very limited (Pizza, pre packaged sandwiches).

I would definitely stay again for a future business trip.

I booked 4 rooms last year for the DSU spring graduation (2023) and I was incredibly impressed. I've never stayed at this hotel while in Madison before and I'm completely sold on it. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly - no matter who you talked to - front staff, bar help (she was hilarious), cleaning staff, didn't matter - they all greeted you and were so nice. The rooms were huge! We were able to gather in one of the rooms for our own happy hour & snacks without a problem (there were 9 of us). I asked that all our rooms be on the same floor and they made it happen! If I was going to say anything slightly negative (if you could call it that) would be that the workout room was very limited. 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and 1 stationary bike. I would suggest to the hotel that they upgrade this and get at minimum 2 - 3 treadmills. People were waiting for me to get off at 5:30 am! But I LOVED this hotel and highly recommend for your stay in little Madison, SD.

We stayed here while attending a weekend wedding near by. This is a great hotel, location and staff and seems like more than a 2 star hotel. The rooms are large and well cared for with air conditioning that works and they are quiet, I never heard neighbors. There is a workout room, pool, bar and breakfast provided and all are clean and in excellent condition.

On our way to the Black Hills, every hotel on I90 was booked. My wife actually found this hotel.

A little out of the way from I90, but a GEM. Looks like a new hotel. The guy who took our info over the phone was great. The women at the front desk was super nice and friendly.

Rooms are clean, and for a Saturday night, the price was a great value.

Stayed overnight just one night. Very pleased with my stay. There are alot of amenities at this property. But I was just too tuckered out to do any of it. My room was perfect.. the shower was hot and good pressure.. my only complaint was that the bed was kind of hard. Breakfast was really good and the staff was super kind. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was simply amazing and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Can't say enough good things. But, we had to chuckle over the name. As far as we could tell, there's not a lake in sight.

Have stayed here a number of times. Excellent hotel! The friendly staff makes everyone feel welcomed. They take pride in the hotel as it is always clean. Breakfast has many options for a satisfying start to the day. Overall, a great place to stay.

We had our Family Christmas Party this weekend! From the first call to make reservation Melissa was so helpful and got us all together in the same floor and two rooms adjoining!! We reserved the breakfast area for our family gather which was Perfect! Friendly staff throughout the hotel to housekeeping to kitchen workers to the bartenders ! The entire staff touched us and was so friendly! Breakfast was delicious! Grandkids love the pancake maker ! Pool was
amazing ! Grandkids had a blast! Will definitely make reservations for next year!

A nice place to stay! Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Ice machines on every floor 👍. Continental breakfast was good. Parking lot was well lit. Price was competitive.

By far my best hotel experience! Super clean, helpful staff, spacious rooms, plenty of pillows and the room was cool when I walked in! Highly recommend!

Large rooms with kitchenettes great hotel.! Pool is very very slippery around edges when wet very dangerous kids slipping and falling and hitting heads on floor adults as well. Whether you're walking or running don't matter. Nice pool and hot tub area but not safe. Great breakfast wonderful atmosphere.

I stayed here for two days on a work trip and was genuinely impressed by my experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the service was world class.

This experience was lead by an employee named Kole who helped several times and made our company feel at home. He was friendly, accommodating and you could tell he cared about his job and our satisfaction.

I look forward to coming back here on all work trips.

This hotel is quite a gem. My wife and I were looking for a place to stay on a way back from a very long cross country trip. While it is 25 miles or so off of interstate 90, It is definitely worth the drive.

Relatively inexpensive room rates combined with immaculately clean and welcome rooms made for an incredible stay. Mattresses are better than average and the room was very pleasant to be in. Very friendly late night staff and we have nothing to complain about whatsoever.
