Fisher Street Bar and Grill

What a GEM! The restaurant is beautiful. All the food was delicious. The best part for us was probably the staff. Everyone had a smile, was friendly, was knowledgeable about the menu, and was very helpful (Cara was our server and she really added to our wonderful dining experience). The prices were great too! We drove in from southwest Austin and it was so worth the drive and we will be back.

DO NOT PASS; STOP IF YOUR IN TOWN AT MEAL TIME!!!! Passing through town and hungry at about 11:45, passing through Goldwaithe on the main road, we passed a grey stone non-descipt building with a small sign hanging from the building. We circled back fter determing that this was probably one of the only places to eat at that was convenient. We parked right in front and entered... wow! You can see what we saw from the pictures. This place is a "gem" as another pit it. Food was so good looking I forgot to take the pictures! I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger, which is made with brisket beef! It is 1st smoked AND then grilled and because of the type of beef, I ordered MEDIUM which came out with a pink center. The fries were the regular kindle kind, but came in the right portion. My partner ordered the Cheese-steak and it came out just as nice looking. Overall the service is outstanding, the atmosphere is outstanding, and the food is outstanding!

Great bar and grill in downtown Goldthwaite. Great beer selection with Axis IPA on tap. Menu broad enough for many tastes, from apps, burgers, sandwiches, salads, entrees and more. We had the Club Sandwich with fries and it was delicious!! Lots of flavor. Asked and received a sample of pulled pork and I'll be ordering that next time. Lunch specials during the week as well. Comfortable booths and really sweet servers. Priced reasonably.

Avocado/Bacon Chicken Melt was delicious. Pizzas were good. We all loved the roasted brussel sprouts- we ate them before I remembered to take a pic. House salad was good. Creamy jalapeño dressing- very good. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

Nice place. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good. I had the pulled pork stuffed potato. The presentation was nice and it was very tasty. I appreciated the jalapeños being on the side so I could throttle the hot to suit myself.

Stopped in for lunch and a quick bite to eat I must say everything about this place is amazing and it has something to offer for everyone whether or not on the town or a nice place to eat with family I highly recommend this place wonderful staff Holly was my waitress and was amazing with the service that she provided

My wife and I drive through this town often. We decided to look for a place to eat dinner before we continued our 4 hour trip.

As soon as we came in we fell in love with the feel and look of this place. We were genuinely greeted by the hostess who walked us to our table.

Our waitress, Riata, was so awesome and helpful through entire ordering process and follow-up visits to make sure all was good.

Food was delicious and one of the best steaks I've eaten, and we love our steaks.

Stopped for lunch on our way home to Austin from Abilene. Pulled pork sandwich + fries were very good. Also enjoyed a frozen margarita w/strawberry swirl. Tasty! Service was a little slow at times, but always friendly and responsive. Comfy booths, clean restrooms, and family friendly vibes. Will remember this place for future visits.

I’m so glad to have a new & different restaurant in Goldthwaite Texas, it is surely a great addition. The atmosphere is unmatched, the service was excellent, and the food was good. I can’t wait to see what new items they add to the menu! I highly recommended the pickle fries 😍♥

Loved the atmosphere. The food was very good. The service super friendly. Server came by several times checking up on me, always with a smile. Manager even came over. The food arrived quickly as well. Recommend this place if you’re driving by or whenever.

The staff is so nice & always on top of their job! Food is by far the best around; the cheeses fries are to die for! I drive 3 hours just to eat here.

Great service, good 'oldie' background music, good burger. The ground brisket for the burgers wasn't expected at 1st, but once I realized it wasn't rare HB, burgers were very good. We'll stop by again on our travels to and from Abi

This place is beautiful. There are mesquite bartops with turquoise enbedded. The women's bathroom has a countertop of the same. Nice relaxing atmosphere. There is a place for bookclubs and it is located across the street from the library.

Amazing place to eat and relax. We were traveling through Goldthwaite and found this place online. It didn’t not let us down. I highly recommend the cheese curds and pizza.

Great new place in town. Stopped on our way through and will make it a point to stop again next time we’re around. Great service and excellent food!

I actually gave the place another try and it was night and day. The food was great, the beer was ice cold and I could tell the tap lines were clean. The best part was that the bar tender Gina served the beer and food with a smile and was very friendly. Enjoyed my tour with the mangager as well. We will definately be back.

Had our daughter, her husband and friends from out of state with us. They all loved it. The friends could not stop talking about the atmosphere, they loved it.

I highly recommend this local bar & grill. My lunch mate said the burger was excellent! I had the grilled chicken topped with Swiss, bacon and avocado with roasted Brussels sprouts and a side salad. It was all perfect seasoned and cooked. The house salad was fresh and included olives, cheese, tomatoes and croutons. The draft beer was perfectly chilled & fresh.

We had lunch here yesterday. I can’t say enough good things about this place or the folks who work there. Beer was perfectly chilled, appetizers were great (2 thumbs up for the cheese curds and the wings) and entrees were delicious and filling. I had the 5 meat pasta which was excellent. Definitely stop in when you get the chance.
