Madison Driver License Office

We drove to Madison from Sioux Falls because we couldn't get an appt for a second driving test for a month in SF. Made an appt in Madison for the next week. Staff and Examiner were very friendly and helpful unlike our experience in Sioux Falls the first time. Office is setup in the 4H building but it wasn't busy at all and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes like in SF either.

Have an appointment when you come for driving test, they required it. I would like to say thank you so very much for the lady that took for me for my driving test. I will remember the tips you said.To God be the Glory !!! Thank you to the lady that issued me my drivers license.

I was actually there for 4H drawing and horse show 6/23/22
But when I was there for drivers license they were in June 2021 they were fast and efficient took care of my needs

Not really thinking the DMV is a fun place to go, but the gals there were fantastic!

As long as you schedule an appointment prior to when you go in the ladies working there are very nice.

Stinks to have to make an appointment, but in and out was easy.

The DMV exam station is in the 4H building, behind the building you can see from the street. From what I saw and heard, it's best to make an appointment online if you need to test, download, print and fill out the first part of the form at home and have all the documentation you'll need when you arrive.

Super unfriendly people. But at least they get the job done.

There is no sign from the main road, Google map it if you want to find it. Website is wrong. They close at 2:45. Walk in the door after 2:45, they stare at you and tell you come back next week. Better off going to Sioux Falls or Brookings if you want customer service.
