Pulled me out from the ditch. They won’t leave you stranded and they definitely know what they doing. Their price is fair and we will definitely use them again.

Really great guys. Had car trouble where vehicle would let us go above 4mph, thinking we had no traction. We were 4 1/2 hours from home. These guys took time from their day to look at it and give their opinion. Let me keep vehicle in parking lot until I got it towed next day. Then one of their friends gave us a ride an hour out to reach our destination. Couldn’t ask for more selfless people.

Very late in writing up this review, but needed to make sure to let others know how happy we were with our experience with Midwest Towing.

A couple weeks ago, our van broke down on our way from WI to Omaha and we had two very nervous/frightened kids in the back. Sam and Brenda rescued us from a very tricky situation and couldn't have been more helpful!

They brought us and our things to the Kum & Go in Walnut while we waited for our friend to pick us up and then towed our van to a shop in Atlantic that was able to make the repairs before we had to head home from Omaha. We would highly recommend anyone use Midwest Towing in the unfortunate event they need it!

Rescue I-80! Awesome service and fantastic work ethics. This is a great family run business and one I highly recommend, especially if you have a blown tire on the interstate (which is not a safe place to be for long)! On our road trip across the country our travel trailer tire blew to pieces on the I-80 in Walnut, IA. It was scary, windy and dangerous. Thankfully, an awesome officer of the law pulled over to check on our situation. He informed us that it was very unwise to use roadside assistance in this area as it could take hours for them to get there and we were not safe. (Most will understand this issue if you have ever had to wait for roadside assistance). Officer Awesome suggested Midwest Towing. Sam Shirley from Midwest Towing was there within 15 minutes. He was able to get the tire functional and get us off the highway to safely repair the damage. Sam even followed us to a safe location to make sure we made it (our spare tire only held on with 4 out of 5 bolts). It was late in the afternoon and Sam told us it might take some time to get the part we needed as our tire issue was a rare problem to have. Sam spent the next morning searching for the rare part we needed and was fortunate enough to find it. Midwest Towing went above and beyond the call of duty! Sam also educated us with some important knowledge regarding travel trailers and helped us get proper tires for the weight we were caring.
Common sense should tell you that needing help on the busy highway in the middle of America's fruited plains is going to come with some setbacks and I feel fortunate to have met these awesome people in our time of need.
Side note: The negative review is BS. If you can drive to Walmart, you don't need help. Prices were very fair and to be honest I thought it would be more than it was.

I broke a leaf spring on my toy hauler traveling from Wisconsin to Colorado, which ended up being the rarest spring ever, but they helped me get my trailer rigged enough to make it to a great camp site. I had to drive 700 miles round trip to Minneapolis to get the spring which sucked but I had no choice. Anyway Midwest got my trailer repaired and I made it back home. Awesome folks and I highly recommend!!

They saved us! We ran out of gas just off 80 a half hour before they closed. They were so sweet on the phone and brought us gas for a reasonable price. Both guys were super friendly and professional. Very honest people. Highly recommend for your towing needs!

My Tesla ran out of range after navigating through a treacherous Iowa snow storm. They quickly responded and let us warm in their comfortable truck, as they assembled the equipment needed for a safe Tesla tow.

They were kind and compassionate towards me and my son, as we were road tripping from Wisconsin to Colorado.

I also appreciated their knowledge, confidence and care to properly follow the Tesla tow requirements.

They towed us the few miles to the nearest super charger, backed the car right up to a charger and, within the hour, we were back on the road to continue our road trip.

I called on a Sunday night regarding a truck breakdown. I very much appreciated the helpfulness in seeking out a repair location as well as overnight accommodations. They towed the truck the next morning. Our company runs trucks through there very often, we won’t hesitate to call again when the need arises. Thank you!

I would like to thank Brenda and her husband for coming out @ 9:30 pm after working all day on a semi roll over accident to get my car with their flatbed. I had 2 blown out right side tires from running over something on the interstate. After the day the already had, they could have just said sorry not gonna happen, but instead they told me give them a few minutes and they would be over to get me. I greatly appreciate their willingness to help another person in a time of need. I would highly recommend them if you are ever in need of a tow/flatbed service. Very knowledgeable, reliable, up front and honest with the cost, so there are no hidden charges. Great family ran business and proud to say that I support them. Thanks again!!!!

When we blew a tire on our fifth wheel, we spent over an hour on the phone with our insurance roadside assistance and got nowhere. Called Midwest Towing and they showed up in 15 min and had us back on the road in under 10 minutes. No joke. They were amazing!

We had a camper tire blow out on the interstate. Midwest Towing helped us out, got to us quicker than they said they would and got the tire changed quickly. We aren't from around here so we had no idea who to call and they were so helpful. Would highly recommend!

Great people! We were stranded with a blown tire on our travel trailer. AAA was going to take three hours to get to us but Midwest Towing came in 15 minutes and took care of it quickly.

I cannot say enough about the customer service, quality, and kindness of Midwest Towing. I blew my front tire while driving across the country and I was lucky enough to find Midwest Towing. Sam and he wife, Brenda, came out to put my spare tire on my car. Brenda could tell I was a bit shaken up and was so kind and comforting while Sam took care of my car. Sam then called his contact at Walmart and even convinced them to stay after hours and replace my tires. They even came with me to the Walmart to make sure I made it there and stayed with me while they replaced my tires. Five stars isn't enough...they deserve so much more. I would highly recommend!

We were traveling between Red Oak and Walnut Iowa, when our Durango broke down. We called the sheriff's office and they recommended Midwest Repair in Walnut. We called explained what happened and. Tow truck was on the way. The owners son came out and looked at the wheel. He was really good at what he does. Once back at the shop they put the Durango up on the rack looked at what they needed and ordered the parts. The owners wife was very helpful in helping us find a hotel that took our dogs. She was also kind enough to take us to Avoca to the hotel and pick up my husband the next day once the Durango was fixed. These are people who bended over backwards for their customers, and will never be forgotten by us. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Sam saved us and our trip out west big time! We were barely into our Colorado road trip when a part from my Toyota Sienna came loose and began to drag under the van. After pulling off several times and attempting to fix it ourselves unsuccessfully, we ended up off of the Walnut exit at 7:00 pm. I noticed Midwest Towing just down from Kum & Go and called. Sam mentioned that he was just getting ready to head home to dinner, but would wait for me. We pulled in seconds later! He was laying on the pavement under my van and eventually was able to cut off the part that was dragging. I offered to pay him, but he declined and did it for no charge. It may not have taken long, but it meant the world to us! I told him over and over again what a blessing he was to my girls and I. And I thanked him again for putting off dinner for us.....his Grandpa-like response, "That's what microwaves are for!" :)

Towed my husband out of a ditch in the middle of the night . No way to get a cab or ride to hotel He could’ve froze to death . Found my husband with just a screen shot of his general location. They came quick , cleared a path, pulled the car out and guided my husband out of a dangerous area in severe weather . They even charged a decent price . I can not thank them enough for their service. I was able to rest easy and go to sleep knowing my husband was safe in a hotel for the night . Five stars across the board 🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯

Sam was amazing and helped us get back on the road. We blew a tire after hours and he came back in and helped us out so we were not stranded overnight. He went well above our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Got a flat tire on our RV at 9pm on a Monday. We didn't have a jack to put the spare on. Called up Midwest Repair and a very nice man arrived 20 minutes later and helped us change it for a fair price. Thank you 1000 times for coming to our rescue!

I give this company 5 STAR due to i have beed dealing with them fort many years and there very good at what they do.

I was sitting there when the owner call you for a fax number to fax you the paper work you asked for. You was very rude to the owner, When you told her that you did not have a fax number she told you that she would need an address and she waited for you to give her an address and you said the address where she or I did not get it she asked you 1 more time and you went off on her so she just hung up the phone and you keep calling her back and keep saying rude words . Son for you giving the a 1 STAR rating is a bunch of bull.
