Just had out-patient surgery this morning, and it was one of the best experiences (minus the pain). Check-in, triage, to the nurses that performed all the work was fast and flawless. Thank you all for taking excellent care of me!

I signed in, sat down and was called back. The dr was actually the 1st one to see me! The nurses and techs were fantastic. We moved from Houston (Texas) ND I was leary re a small town hospital. Have to say - I was impressed.

Staff was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in till the moment we were discharged. They did a great job taking care of my 3 year old.

I have always been treated right away with no problems. The longest time I have spent in the ER is 3 hrs. And that from start to finish..I think that is pretty good.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well I was treated last Monday night at around 8:30. The overnight shift that night was exceptional. I was diagnosed with covid and the flu. There really wasn't much they could do and I do have a medical bill because of no insurance but I was treated very well. My only complaint was the receptionist. I sat down and she didn't say anything for well over 3 minutes. I wasn't sure if she wanted me to say something first or not. She just kept typing away on her computer. She looked at me and just kept typing. She could have at least said give me a minute. After she finally said something she still wasn't very friendly.

The nurses/techs are typically nice or at least trying to be helpful. But the doctors are always mean, always. Always short and have an attitude or don't really explain anything and just want to get away from me.

I've gone in over falls alarms before just anxiety but I've always gone on before and they just did not care, where not patient, did not want to help me they just wanted me out. The only time they'd smile or act helpful is if I'd compliment them. I shouldn't have to be extra nice to a doctor to get help or bedside manner. I've called as well and told them some serious symptoms just to get a "it's normal come in if you feel like it" and then be told by everyone else in my life that I need to get a real doctor ASAP and be extremely worried because it was and is in fact, not normal. This hospital has bad reviews whenever I TALK to someone they have at least one bad experience. And it's 2.4 and 2.5 for the ratings? That's not because people are stupid or Karen's it's because 80% of the time this hospital has not and has never cared.

It’s 2023 and my insurance pays way more than it should to occupy a room in the er to begin with. Especially when the facility doesn’t even have a pillow for elevation or comfort for an injured patient? Seriously walker county catch up !! Stock slacking people!

This place is a joke people with far worse things being told to wait even though one person could end up in a coma another in serious pain from a 4 wheeler accident but the person with an little sniffle or a swollen knee take priority over the serious cases. I mean come on who ever runs the emergency room department needs to step down or before long they will get sued and they will have to close the department all together which I would find so funny. Start taking care of the actually emergencies before the bull that comes in. If you have an emergency I would suggest going to Cullman Regional or Gardendale to people that actually give a damn.

“Kayla” is very rude and doesn’t care about her patients at all. I’ve had terrible abdominal pain for days now, she walked in the room saying “what now” after telling me the night before to come back if things got worse, which they did. Hope I never have her again when walking into the er

Worst ER in the state. I used to work here in the Emergency Department. We would triage people and immediately place them in a room quickly, no matter what was wrong with them. We would keep 1-2 beds open for Ambulance patients. Then Patty Poe took over the ER and all the nurses and doctors left. She and her cronies ran the place into the ground. Wait times went up, sometimes people would wait 5-6 hours or more before being placed in a room. Only go here if you are about to die, otherwise go somewhere else.

Arrived at the ER over an hour ago with my wife, she has severe abdominal pain and we're made to wait. Pain has gotten worse and still nothing. People ahead of us are walking around laughing and seem to be in no distress. This has to be the worst run ER in the state. Asked about pain meds for her because of her pain and it was no we can't and still made to sit and wait.

We’ve waited for 3 hours in the waiting room and my fiancé was called back to do the same triage evaluation twice as if they forgot they had already done that. I understand ER can be busy but there are only 2 others here. The wait has been so long many have left to go somewhere else before they’ve even been called.
