SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Centralia

My dad was brought in for a new onset cardiac condition where his heart was stopping & was promptly treated and transferred to get a pacemaker. I could not be there but Dr. Leach called me personally to update me every step of the way. Shout out to Ashley, Becky, Kaitlin, Heather, Cindy, & CT staff for great teamwork and care in a high pressure situation! Another life saved at St. Mary’s! He’s home and well!

I had to get a cortisone shot under x-ray the other day. The staff in that department is great. They explained everything, and so put me at ease. I don't know all the ladies names, but thank you. Ya'll are the best. I recommend them.

I recently was a patient at St Mary's Hospital and I wanted to express my gratitude for the great care that I received from the doctors, nurses and CNAs. I want to specifically thank Dr. Patel, Dr. Mani and that great nurse, Dawn Kelly. I appreciate you and the whole staff.

We required a Sunday a.m. ER visit today. Nothing but great things to say about it! Thanks to Ann, Becky, Jennifer, Adam, Kirstie, Cindy, Rhonda, and Dr. Leach for a professional AND compassionate experience! I know I left out a couple of people at the entrance and in the course of the morning, but I couldn't get their names! Thanks to them as well! Kudos to all of you!

Had disc replacement surgery a month and a half ago, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my surgery, stay and follow ups went off without a hitch. Excellent hospital all the way around.

We recently took our daughter to the ER at St. Mary's Centralia for what seemed to be a seizure. They were very quick to get her into a room to be assessed. We were completely satisfied with the care she received while there. The noteworthy part came when we went on to Children's Hospital ER (per St. Mary's recommendation). Once we arrived at Children's, they commented multiple times about what a great job the St Mary's ER team did in regards to the tests they ran. They commented that St. Mary's actually went above and beyond what they at Children's would have done. So, well done, St. Mary's ER team! Thank you for taking great care of our daughter.

My grandpa recently passed away in the ER at St. Mary's. The entire staff from the doctor, nurses, supervisor, respiratory staff and everyone involved were wonderful to us. I knew how busy they were and not once did they make us feel like we weren't a priority for them. Their kindness and excellent care will forever be appreciated.

I have had to go to St. Mary's Emergency Department three times in the last year, twice being admitted. The care I received in the ED was quick and thorough. The nurses were exceptional and very caring. Please remember the Emergency Department is there for emergencies, to assess the situation, and get you to the next phase. Soon the Emergency Department will have a beautiful renovation with a separate ambulance entrance, separate rooms for behavioral patients and children, separate space for non-emergency cases. Damon Harbison is the current President of St Mary's Hospital. Damon is a home town boy returning to his roots to make St Mary's better from the inside as well as the outside. We are blessed to have him!

Damon harbison is the best person ever!! I’ve contacted him twice for serious medical situations. Once for myself and another time for a second mom. The second time was way after his office hours. I sent him a message and called me within minutes. Got in contact with the patient in less than 15 minutes of initial contact. This man is exactly what our health care system needs!!

Through the years our family has had excellent care at St Mary’s. The nurses are simply incredible! We had experience with a sick family member. We had multiple visits at a top St Louis hospital and St Mary’s. It isn’t even close as to the quality of care and compassion. The nurses are what make St Mary’s special.

Arrived in extreme pain with a kidney stone. Was taken back immediately, had IV started and received medication immediately. All nurses and doctors were very polite and very accommodating. Thank you! Spent a week in there ending with surgery to remove stone. Nurses on the 4th floor were extremely nice and the CNA Denise Hine was amazing!

Just had my daughter here back in March. Absolutely love the hospital and staff in OB.!! Shortly after the birth of my daughter I returned to ER with high blood pressure and severe sinus infection was immediately given IV and medicine for blood pressure sinus infection as well as pain.. BRAVO CENTRALIA SSM HEALTH!! My experience couldn't have been better! Extra hip hip hooray to Dr. Covlin and OB staff!!

They go above and beyond . I have been in the hospital 3 times and they were wonderful every time! The problem with the emegency room is its always full of people that don't need immediate help and have a medical card so they don't pay a dime and then when folks come in that really need attention they have to wait because all the people talking and watching tv are clogging up the system! Thats the truth. They could wait and see the regular Dr. the next day!

I had an exceptional experience having my first mammogram at SSM Health St. Mary’s Centralia! Chandra explained everything in detail and made sure that I was comfortable through it all! Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at st marys I can't remember every one's name but I thank you all for helping me!!!!ms Stella I wanta thank you for helping me evening after I was discharged ,you guys were great!!!And the food omg I wanted to stay just for the food!!!shout out to the cook!!!!!!God bless you all and thank you!!!!!!!!

President Damon Harbison is an excellent asset to our hospital and our community. He truly cares about each and every patient and goes out of his way to help ensure patients are receiving the care they need. SSM and Centralia are very blessed to have Mr. Harbison.

I recently had a minor procedure done. The hospital called ahead to pre-register me, quick in, everyone was very polite and on time, quick out. Could not have gone better. So convenient to have a great facility with great staff so close!

My daughter was in a car accident about a week ago. We took her to Centralia for pains in her side and they were amazing.
