Rustic Ravines

This place is top-notch!!! The cabin we stayed in was beautiful! We will definitely be back! Joe was very accommodating, welcoming, and a great guy! 👍

Everything about this place was great. Super quiet and secluded, but also there is WiFi, so best of both worlds! The Hampton was perfect for just me and the wife but we could’ve brought a few friends and there would’ve been plenty enough space! Easy to drive to if you follow the directions they send you. Joe is really nice and he stays around the property if you have any issues. Only thing I recommend you bring is some food and drinks, but they have a little store and restaurant on the property also! Hot tub and back porch were super relaxing and our favorite part was the 100s of lightning bugs blinking at twilight. 10/10 recommend you stay here for at least 3-4 days!

Had a great relaxing getaway at Rustic Ravines. We stayed in the Hampton cabin which was very nice, well equipped, and clean. The setting was peaceful and surrounded by nature. Joe was an excellent and attentive host, and incredibly responsive during the booking process. We will be back soon!

The people are very friendly and extremely helpful. When we arrived they asked if we were planning on hitting the trails that day, so they took the initiative to let the people at the trailhead know we would be stopping for our permits, and asked them to wait for us.

The buildings are really nice inside.
The restaurant has a pool table, darts and a jukebox, and is clean and nicely decorated.
The cabin we stayed in had everything we could ask for, and was also clean and nicely decorated.

I would definitely stay here again.

Property was very well maintained, but what makes this place great is the people. Joe was more than accommodating and a pleasure to be around. The staff was great. We were there to ride the trails. I'd recommend a tour by a local guide named "Goat". We had an amazing time and will be back. Thanks Joe, Goat, and staff.

We've been to Rustic Ravines two times to stay for my birthday. We live in the same town and it's still a nice getaway for us. The cabins are beautiful and clean.The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We will always go back when we can. Our most recent stay was during a snow storm and it was just beautiful watching the snow fall while staying warm in the hot tub.

This place is an amazing getaway from all the city lights. They have beautiful cabins with Jacuzzis, a store stocked with all the basics, a restaurant with amazing food, a pool table, ATV rentals and that's just some of the services they provide. It's a must see to believe 400 acres of gorgeous mountains. I can't wait to revisit soon!

This place is amazing! Joe and his staff are very friendly. Who would believe this hidden gem is nestled in the hills where I grew up as a child. The Amish cabins are spectacular and the upcoming zip line will be stellar! Hot tubs almost everywhere! Outdoor showers (and inside as well) let you experience nature in the "natural" way. You cannot miss this. In the winter, it is so peaceful and to look over the snow capped hills and valleys.... Wonderful!

Loved every second of our trip here ! Joe was friendly and answered all of our questions. Ricky was very welcoming and gave us a little history on his help with building the place. We also met Phil and junebug who helped as well - all of them are awesome. Blacky the dog visited daily , lounged on our side porch. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch , watching the horse graze freely surrounded by the beautiful mountains and trees. I highly suggest a side by side rental - grinding down the mountain trails and cliffs made for a breath taking view. Muddy puddles , huge rocks and downed trees were no match for us . Best adventure ive ever had All of the people in the surrounding Genoa Hill area were friendly , as were their pups that visited us during our side by side rides . Our cabin was warm and comfortable , very clean , and the game room was very much enjoyed. While we had to return to Pittsburgh , i left a part of my soul at Rustic Ravines , WV. I cant stop talking about our trip and can NOT wait to go back !

My boyfriend and I decided to go for an overnight getaway. After researching cabins, we found this gem close to home. We had no idea it existed. The staff is simply amazing. We received phone calls and emails, prior to our arrival to ensure we had good directions. We were welcomed to cabin with a smile and after our departure, we received a follow-up email from the owner. You don’t find hospitality like that anymore! The area is beautiful, the cabin was pristine, peaceful, and cozy. We even made a new friend, with “Red”, the Rustic Ravine’s Mascot! ❤ We will definitely be going back and hopefully, our next trip will be longer. Thank you for an amazing stay. It couldn’t have been any better.

I can not say enough good things about Rustic Ravines. We absolutely loved it!! My husband and I always talked about doing a primitive camp and riding weekend. We made arrangements with the owner Joe Boffo for exactly that, unfortunately we picked the wrong weekend. It was cold and rained non stop our first day there. Joe went out of his way to make sure we had an awesome experience. He allowed us to set up camp under their gazebo which saved our weekend. We were out of the rain and off the cold wet ground. The property and cabins were beautiful and the hospitality was top notch!! We enjoyed the all you can eat buffet and the live entertainment on Saturday evening was very enjoyable. We paid for the tour guides and it was a wise choice. The trails are outlaw trails so they are not marked and no maps available. The trail guides were knowledgeable and gave us an awesome and fun riding experience . I highly recommend Rustic Ravines to anyone that's into side by side riding or just looking for a get away. Thank you Joe Boffo for a wonderful weekend. We will definitely see you again!!

Be aware that the roadways to the property are small so if you are bringing a bigger rig or a big trailer through, it can get a little scary at times. Otherwise, location was very beautiful and quiet, hot tub was nice and clean. Trails were very close. Great property!

My husband and I stayed in one of the gorgeous cabins for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The owner was super accommodating and gave us an awesome deal last minute. It was absolutely perfect. Clean, comfortable, and unique. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I went up for my birthday this past weekend we stayed in the Mountaineer Rustic Yurt which Joe had his staff but a few surprises inside for my arrival. WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! It was clean new and had all of the amenities from home. Thank You So much we will see you again!

Had a great couple days here with my son and mom and nephew we had a blast everyone was so nice and helpful from the beginning when I was booking the room finding a day that was open. Cabin was very clean And nice we rented a couple side by sides one did break down but next day we rented a couple more side by sides and they gave us 2 for the price of one we didn’t even ask they just did it. not many places would be so nice and understanding. We will be coming back most definitely

Some friends and I loaded up the side by sides for a guys trip. We arrived on the morning of on our day of check in, our guide Tosha was on time, beyond nice and was ready to go. After riding about a hour, one of our own utvs ( not a rental) had issues with a wheel stud from a improperly seated wheel and tire due to some last minute maintenance before the trip. Our guide helped us limp it to a near by road, called her dad to come get us with a truck and trailer and hauled us back to rustic ravines some 14 miles away. The guide refused to take a tip because we had only been out about a hour despite how she got us back safe and sound, and helped prevent further costly damage to my machine. Her dad wouldn’t take a dime for us despite us trying to pay him for his time. They are just wonderful people. Once back, the owner Joe said ok we need to get you checked in, we also need to get you parts and any tools you don’t have let me know we will find. He got us checked in promptly as it was right at check in by this time, and started helping us make phone calls attempting to find parts on a Sunday after noon which is almost impossible. Finally wheel studs were found in a similar size at autozone 30 minutes away and by night fall everything was back as it should be and the machine was ready to go. The next day Joe had found another guide Gary to take us on our trip that we couldn’t make the day before due to mechanical issues. The trails he took us on were awesome. As for our cabin it was clean, very nice, and any amenities we needed we had. You won’t find better service and you certainly won’t find better people than the owner and staff of rustic ravines.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Rustic Ravines staying in one of their architecturally awesome yurts. The accommodations were clean, property was beautiful, and yurt had everything we needed. They have a general store on the property in case you forget anything too!

My friends and I had an absolute blast! Joe and his staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. We rented a cabin for 10 guys and also rented side by sides. It was nice to come back to an air conditioned cabin after being outside all day!! Thanks again!
