Peking City

Since the new owner took over Peking City we've been here a few times as a group of four. Each time we all commented how delicious the food is. The new owner, Oscar, and his staff are on point, the menu is extensive, and service is always prompt and friendly.
Try the General's Chicken, the Triple Delight, the Ginger Beef, the Orange Chicken, to name just a few... but you can't go wrong with anything, everything on the menu is prepared to perfection.
Don't hesitate to try this place, you won't be disappointed!

I placed an order just before close, I felt terrible for this. Despite my sorrowful transgression they treated me with kindness and hospitality. Their food is always great and this time when I ordered one order of crab cheese(4) I was given seven!!!! I love them!

Been driving by this restaurant for years. Finally stopped in. Cute little restaurant. Staff were very friendly and polite. I ordered what I normally do at other Chinese restaurants, but when it came out it wasn't anything like all the other restaurants. They were very accommodating and swapped out my meal. Will definitely return. Everything we ate was great.

Typically we get Chinese from here. The Peking City Lo mein is my favorite, however my daughter and I decided to get a chicken quesadilla to share today and it was sooo good! The salsa and sauce that came with it was awesome as well! It was a great price for the size!

Love their food! I try something different almost every time and love it all! Amazing crab cheese! Their specials are a great value and the people that run it are awesome and very friendly!

Wow! Every meal here has been exceptional! The new owner is on point. The flavors, colors, textures are amazing with generous portions and fast, friendly service.
You can't go wrong here. I don't know how there's not a line out the door...maybe soon.

We’ve been here when it was the previous owners, the owners after them, and now the new owners and it is way better now!! Great service our waitress was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely not as busy as it used to be and I wanna say it’s because of the last owners before these guy’s because we didn’t really like their food either(there was many people complaining) but it is definitely as good as the first owners if not better!! We had their sesame chicken and general and they both were really good! Crab cheese was really good too!

Great service and large variety of food and huge portions

This place is definitely not what you would expect from from a Chinese restaurant. The staff and atmosphere are certainly not ethnically cohesive with the food, but that also doesn't matter. I had an amazing meal. Special praise must be paid to the chef's hot mustard recipe: it was spot on just-right. If you find yourself in the Thumb definitely visit Peking City in Sebewaing near the Pioneer and Big Chief sugar factory.

THE MOST DELICIOUS TACOS I'VE EVER EATEN. They have a very large selection of food and all of it is delicious. The donuts are AMAZING. After a recent staffing change, the waitress was very nice and all of the staff was too!

Passing through, Had to make a U-turn; was a bit curious to have options of CHINESE/THAI/MEXICAN, All in one stop! Pork egg foo young was legit & huge portions! Will make the 30 min drive to try more good food😋

So good! Food was amazing. Don't let the bad reviews fool you, it was so tasty! Very underrated, friendly staff, and short wait time. 10/10 will be coming again (:

Really surprisingly, good Chinese. Never expected to find a place like this in a rural area like the thumb. New owners seem to have nailed it.

They also serve some intriguing thai and mexican entrees.

Food was so flavorful! One week we had chinese... the next we had Mexican! Both was fantastic!!! Thank you Oscar!

We tried this place for the first time today, it is amazing 🤩 the egg rolls are on point, the crab 🦀 cheese is phenomenal as well. My husband had the chicken and broccoli combination plate and I had the pepper steak both are delicious!!! The sweet and sour sauce is by far the best I’ve had in years!!!

This has been the Chinese-American place in my town for ages. Recently they got new management, and let me tell you - the new menu is 🔥. The Thai food is excellent, they hit the classics out of the park, and the American dishes are tasty. But the servers and management are the real gem - delightful people who really care about their food and the people in the restaurant. Definitely give it a shot.

UPDATE: currently closed for a management change. I can only hope the menu changes stay.

The service was excellent and the food came quickly. The sweet and sour chicken was good. The crab cheese was ok, some dripped grease and there wasn't much filling but the overall was good. The sesame chicken had an odd flavor but my friend loved it.

Chi is an awesome hostess. The food is top of the line. We heard of them from family in the Mackinac area and took a stroll from the flint area to give them a try. Let me say it was worth the trip and we were glad we came. Looking forward to return again soon.
