Philp County Park

Is the smallest park on the beach at only 2 acres. But this park is calm and offers a wide beach even in the current high water conditions. There are a few picnic tables and grills available near the parking area which offers commanding views of the beach and Saginaw Bay. Wood steps lead from the parking down to the beach.

It was a great place to simply pull in for immediate beach access. I could also view the lovely beach of Lake Huron from my car.

Clean and sandy beach. Practically empty when we went and that suited us just fine as my kids tend to be unruly in the water and given the times we didn't want crowded beaches.

Quiet, shady, small roadside park with beach on Lake Huron between Caseville and Port Austin. Stopped to watch the sunset. No bathroom this time of year (April), there will be a Porta Potty in the summer months. Short stairway down to beach, so not wheelchair accessible.

The beach is clean, the water and sand are too. I love the feeling of the ripples in the sand on the bottom of the lake on the bottom of my feet. Seeing the ripples from the waves on the surface of the water making shadows on the ripples on the lake bottom just adds to that experience. Totally relaxing.

Sturgeon festival was great,
Lighthouse is a must see.
Park is clean,nice beach and picnic area. Parking $5.00 car.

nice little view. its easy to miss while driving due to all the cabins around. some of people store stuff by the road and have elaborate signs and mail boxes so they can find their places and have nice views. this makes it difficult to spot the small parking lot. its free though. no bathrooms that i remember, just patking.

Beautiful small public beach clean water clean sand low key not lots of people

I have been going there for 50 years… enough said.

Beautiful park......large restrooms.....very clean..... picnic tables and a few grills. Views of Lake Huron , especially sunsets are amazing! Great stop - over for bikes as well ! One of our favorites while cruising.

Perfect beach, not busy with cheeseburger festival going on.

I have a cottage right next to the park and it's awesome. Lots of beach with shade if you want. Busiest on weekends like 10-15 people but normally around 5.

This is one of Huron Counties most beautiful public beaches. It's small private and has limited parking so when the lot is full people drive past so you don't have problems with overcrowding.

Update this year they have made significant improvements to a already vary nice beach

Great beach for kids the water is shallow and it has a nice sandy beach and bottom. Not as busy as Port Crescent or other nearby beaches.

Love it there we have our cabin write down the road and my son has won his wife my brother-in-law it's a family thing up there I would love it thank you

Ample parking and great beach!

A quick stop to dip my toes in the great lake.

You can walk out in the water a long way. Always clean and we'll maintained. Just love it!
