D'Antons Coney Island

I've been familiar with them since I was a young child. I haven't been in so many years (at least 15). Me and hubby went yesterday because I always tell him how good I remember them being. He's a chef and not easily impressed and he's also from Detroit where they are known for their coney islands. Well, the results are in and he was highly impressed! It took me back and the taste hasn't changed AT ALL! Thank you guys for remaining the same as most restaurants haven't and don't seem to care anymore. We will definitely be regular supporters 🫶🏾 oh the pickles picture I just thought was funny because I always ask for extra pickles and they definitely made sure I had them!!

Had a bacon cheeseburger from there yesterday. First time there. Thank baby Jesus they close at 6 pm. Otherwise I’d be there every morning and night. Burger was delicious, fries were amazing! Service was great! I’m getting ready to grab a pillow and sleeping bag to sleep out there tonight so I’m the first one when they open. This is going to be a problem! Too delicious!

They were great. The food was great, had that urban twist to it vs. a chain restaurant. But what really did it for me was the fast service AND I spilled my drink at the table, and before I even turned my cup upright, the lady was out with a towel to clean the table and the floor. I barely had time to react and she's on it as quick as a breath lol! Yeah, great service!

Nice people and tasty food off the grill. Usually meet friendly people there just shooting the breeze and good vibes. I go for the Coney dogs.

it’s exactly what you want out of a good coney on the east side. i always look forward to getting a few coney dogs from here when we visit pontiac. the family that runs this place is doing everything so right.

Excellent diner food. Detroit style coney islands are bomb. The cooks and waitstaff are highly accommodating. You can call in and pick up if you are on the go. Definitely a gem of Pontiac.

My first visit there the wait for my order didn't take long to prepare & made as I ordered it & delicious will be visiting again

D Anton’s must be the most efficient run, high volume independent coney island with the best food that I know of and I don’t think the people behind the counter could be any more friendly. I have eaten breakfast there for years, many sandwiches and hamburgers and fries but my absolute favorite is the grilled chicken Greek salad. It is amazing it is probably one of my favorite takeout foods from anywhere for lunch.
The only critical comments I can make is. It is sometimes hard to park because it is so popular and the counter can get busy at lunch if you are in a hurry.

Best spot in Pontiac for affordable, good food. Staff is friendly and treat you like family. Been going there since a small child and now my children love going. They treat the kids like their own and make "special" food for them. Cutting up food for us beforehand to making Mickey mouse shaped pancakes. Love them.

The staff makes you feel like family. They're so nice and attentive. Delicious & fresh food made right in front of you. Nice, clean place to chill out & get a great bite to eat!

All their food is fresh and homemade, they serve breakfast lunch or an early dinner, it's great to have this place in the neighborhood. They're also open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 6 days a week, they are closed Sundays.

If you haven't ate here you are missing out in life. Best Coney in the state of MI. Food is always prepared very quickly, best costumer service, and absolutely DELICIOUS. Eat here if you know what good food is!!!!

Been a regular for more than 25 years. D'Antons serves the usual coney island fare, plus some surprisingly good sandwiches and salads. Worth going even if it's a little out of your way!
