Anchor Cove Church

When I was invited to this church back in 2017, I had so many problems. I always bottled everything up inside of myself because I thought that no one could withstand the struggling darkness that I was battling with inside my head and all around me. A struggling family life, horrible anger issues, selfishness, having control over everything, and so much more deeper than the surface. What I opened up to, witnessed, and still witness to this day, is the genuine, no sugarcoated, real to the bone, love. It empowers you. It changes you for what we as human beings were called to pursue and have purpose in from the beginning. Just when you think you're lost and there's no hope for you, Jesus shows up. He breaks your walls down and you realize that you're brokenness was handled at the cross where Jesus was Crucified. During the first worship service I went to at Anchor Cove, everything came out. I got on my knees, I even layed on the ground crying my heart out. I realized there wasn't an ounce of me that God didn't want to use for his Glory. Knowing we're all broken people, I realized that I myself was in need of a savior. I wasn't just in need of a savior, but my whole entire everything. I had come to truth within myself that I Need JESUS! I have so many more things that were a struggle in my life and some come up new, but I realized, that with Jesus, I can overcome anything. I realized that I am who HE says I am. I can do greater things, my being is who Jesus calls us to be. And to this day, my relationship with God has grown so much. I am not the same person I was when i first started going. It is truly an Encounter of its own. ❤

Very awesome church and they make you feel comfortable good preaching there I really enjoyed the times that I went GOD BLESS them and may GOD stay in the presence of all who go there and also the ones that don't

great place to worship. you will feel welcome as soon as you get to the door. you will feel like family. pastor dave is a real down to earth pastor who preaches the truth. if your tired of corporate church with dead dry religion you have to try Anchor Cove i promise you won't be disappointed.

We have been serving and worshipping at Anchor Cove since March 2011, I can remember going for the first time about 14 people there on Sunday Morning, we were a family of 6 so that tells you there were not many; this was a brand new church; there is definitely something different going on there and it took me a few weeks to say YES this is my home. The Truth is being preached and The Holy Spirit is in control from start to finish. I would suggest you check it out don't wait until you try to clean yourself up, because you can't but God can and you will be accepted and loved just the way you are, but if you keep on coming the Good News is you will start to change:) Praise GOD Now there is on average 160 on Sunday mornings and its not about numbers it about Changed Lives and it's happening:)

Anchor Cove Church drastically changed my life. When I came to AC 5 years ago I was in a very dark place. I was broken and lost. But because of AC that person doesn't exist anymore. They showed me we are to have a relationship with Christ, not a religion. I know so much about the Bible now and how to press in to God and his Word when I go through hard times. Because of AC I love going to church and reading the Word. I have learned and grown more spirituality in the last 5 yrs than I ever did at the traditional church I went to for 40 yrs. AC is a spirit-filled church!! The praise and worship team is absolutely amazing! The pastors sermons are life-relatable and open my eyes and heart to things in my life that I need to change to become the person God intended me to be. There are no words to describe how the pastor, his wife and the church have impacted and changed my life.

If you want to feel the love of Christ, listen to the word of God through a God fearing pastor. You automatically feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door... this is the best place to be!
