Great service. Good food and a couple of us bought kolaches to boot.

Love coming here. The food is very reasonably priced, the people are super friendly, and their food has always been consistent and delicious. Also, crazy to think back when I was a kindergartner at the school, but it does make for a great restaurant.

Also, their Kolaces are delicious and I have to get a dozen every time I come there 😆.

Wednesday special did not disappoint! Homemade everything and those kolaches…. Let me tell you, better than m grandmas! Yum

We’ve been making the trek out to Abie Ne for the Roast Pork dinners on Wednesdays ever since I discovered it about 4 years ago.
With the loss of The Bohemian Cafe in South Omaha this IS as close as you’re going to get. It is AUTHENTIC, HOMEMADE and DELICIOUS ! Well worth the drive and I highly recommend it.
We’ve tried some of the Bohemian style dinners served by various places around town but they all fall short in flavor, serving size, and price.
This does NOT disappoint.
You get a GENEROUS serving of roasted to perfection pork, a GENEROUS side of mashed potatoes and gravy, a GENEROUS serving of EDIBLE sauerkraut, (THAT alone is important) a GENEROUS helping of potato dumplings, a side salad and some of the fluffiest thick sliced rye bread since rye bread was invented.
Do yourselves a flavor and make the trip through Nebraskas Bohemian Alps and stop in at Abies Place and give it a try.
Oh, and did I mention the homemade AUTHENTIC Kolaches !?!?!
So many to choose from and so perfectly delicious !
Plus they also sell loaves of the homemade rye and cinnamon rolls.
We have both dined in and carried out.
AND we have dined in AND carried out. I’ve bought extra to take home and just like good spaghetti, it’s even better the next day !!!

Abie's place is a hidden little GEM 💎 a little rustic, however humble and very well put together by a devoted hard worker woman and her team!

Come here every time we visit my in-laws. Mary is great! Good food too!

Great place to eat. Food is always good.

Great kolaches and bread. Friday fish fry is excellent and they have polka bands and dancing. Very fun atmosphere. If it’s busy it takes a while to get food but that just means you have time to relax, visit, have a few beers and enjoy the fun.

Best duck and dumplings around! Usually only on Holidays, Mother's Day, Father's Day. Prime Rib night, fish night, burger night, etc. I drive 120 miles round trip! Oh yeah, I forgot, grab yourself a couple dozen of the baked kolaches when you leave. You'll be eating them on the way home!

The food and baked goods are so delicious! It's always a great time at Abie's Place!

I always love going to Abie's Place to bring back memories of my years at Abie Public School! Good food and casual, laid-back atmosphere.

We were so excited to receive this beautiful box of goodies! Kolache are hard to find in California and I can't physically make them myself anymore! Being 💯 Czech, our trips to Nebraska are few!

The food was out of this world. The rye bread (and all of the baked goods) was so darned good. Great people. Fun customers. Really enjoyed the music and dancing with everybody!

Good food and a good place to stop. The owners are friendly and the prices here are great. A little out of the way but worth the stop in you're in the area and looking to find a bite to eat.

Long wait for Friday night fish.... But totally worth it, delicious with live polka music
