Amazing tour with Kathy Nelson she was so nice and knowledgeable, small town America.

Awesome local history museum, containing a variety of fossils and historical artifacts. I was mainly interested in the fossil exhibits, which I found informative and well-labeled. I was surprised by the high number of fossils in such a small museum. It was definitely worth the short detour. Did not look at the other sections, but I'm sure they would impress any history buff. FYI, the museum is free!

A hidden gem...such a wonderful historical experience in small town South Dakota!

This museum is worth driving from wherever you live to South Dakota for a visit. They have beautiful art portraying the history of the area, dinosaur artifacts, and many other displays as well as a wonderful book selection. Kathy opened it for us on a Sunday afternoon. You will fall in love with this place!

Well worth visiting. There is lots to see in this little museum. In the western part of South Dakota.

Very nice museum for a small town museum. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur and fossil exhibits for the items that were discovered nearby the town.

One doesn't go to timber lake for this museum but you could spend 30 minutes way worse.
