Spicy Bite Indian Restaurant

The best Indian food in the middle of nowhere. We visited Chaco canyon and stopped here for dinner on the way back. They have very quick service, amazing paratha and tava roti. The rada chicken was to die for, yellow daal had the comfort of homemade food and the bhindi was very tasty.

I normally don't post a lot of reviews unless is something that is really worth it, like this Chicken Tikka Masala, the garlic naan and the white rice that I had! Best I've had in my life hands down! So good and tasty and even the aroma smelled so good! 100% recommend!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

People complained there’re no good dining options at Grants, NM, well, that’s because they didn’t find this gem. We stumbled onto it during our Route 66 road trip. Authentic Indian food. Tasty and fresh. They only do takeouts currently, maybe due to the pandemic. It’s a hole-in-wall at a truck stop, next to the Wow Diner. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend it.

This is the best, most authentic Indian food I have ever had! If the butter chicken doesn’t have the grinded cashew in it, it’s not authentic to me! They cook with integrity! This is healing food that you can’t find in our American stores. I wish I could eat here every day. God bless them.

Ok this place is amazing! So let me start off by saying that my husband and I are from the south. We southerners tend to stick to chicken and biscuits. We decided to give Indian food a try for the first time, and boy I’m glad we did. The men who work here were very friendly, and the food came out fast, hot, and delicious! 10 out of 10!

This place is amazing. If you like Indian food (which I love), you will like this place. Curry goat and curry lamb are great. The butter chicken is perfect. Idk what else to say... this is a top rated restaurant for a reason!

Very tasty, really good food. Indian cuisine is on the top of my list. Today I got shrimp curry, shrimp biryani, paratha with yogurt, and four rotti. I went mild this time but next time I will definitely go spicy! I love Indian food, it’s always a joy to find a new restaurant, and experience the unique flavor of each kitchen. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend! Please do not forget the chai tea!

I get Tandoori chicken and Plain Naan always. It is cooked so good and their chili sauce is so tasty. I wish I had the recipe I told the employee there. The food is cooked very well and nice and hot to take home to eat.

Hoooooolyyyyyy cow. Only got a picture of the last piece of garlic naan, because we devoured everything so quick. This is the best Indian food I've ever had.
It's also truck stop land, so don't go expecting fine china, ours came out in to-go containers.
Honestly, go here. The flavor was way better than the fancy joints I've loved. I got a chicken makhani and saag paneer to drive home with tomorrow.
Oh yeah, and the guys working were very kind, suggested stuff for my dad, and made things easy for our toddlers.

The food is GREAT ; always haters hating on authentic food. ANYHOO!!! IM BLACK AND I ONLY COME TO NEW MEXICO for their food. Ok ok ok!!! the food is a bit pricey but we pay the same amount at truck stops for garbage food with no leftovers. At least I pay 💰 and it’s cooked food and I have hella leftovers where I don’t have to spend the next day; so really it’s worth the buy.🇯🇲

The spice level is perfect. There is mild for those whole can't handle it and higher too. 5 star taste. Mango drinks from India.

Excellent quality food! It's buffet style, so it's ready to go. Perfect for truckers or a quick stop. The food is top notch, every dish was cooked and spiced perfectly. You could taste that they used real ghee. I'm definitely going to be stopping here every time I pass through on the 40! Not the best photo 'cuz I just piled in a bit of everything.

Awesome have to try. Great taste. A little on the pricey side but other than the lunch buffet, all food is made to order with whatever heat level..

After reading some reviews we were a little skeptical to eat here however we have had delicious Indian at gas station before, so we went for it. It was delicious! The food had delicious flavor, was large portions and was piping hot. Yes the chicken was in big chunks but it was tender and cooked through. Yes the building needs some repairs from use but was in no means dirty or gross to eat in. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were just driving through but highly recommend for a quick bite that was delicious and not fast food!

Two years later and I came back. These people are excellent at prepping food at an affordable price point. I upscaled my rating because the flavors of the food is so delicious and quality is really good. It is spicy and perfect temperature of the food as well. I really really appreciate good quality food that truckers can select from while while working on the road. Anyone who takes who turns a cheek is greatly missing out!
