I'm from Chicago and I've been coming to Denver for 15 years. I can never find a good Chicago style hot dog. This low-key Hidden Gem in Breckenridge is the place to go for some authentic Chicago style food. Service is a little bit slow but everybody's friendly so Pop a beer, spin the wheel, and wind down after a day on the slopes.

One of the best places I’ve been to in Breck as a non-local. Cheap, no-nonsense food (the Dewdrop Dog was amazing). Cheap beer. Great staff. Awesome little hole-in-the-wall.

Will definitely be coming back next time we visit.

Picked up some hotdogs and tots to-go. Bartender was quick, pleasant, and the food was delicious when I got home. Also gotta point out that they have a gameshow-like wheel you can spin. How can you not love that?

The Mac and cheese dog and the dewdrop hot dog were both delicious. The kiddos loved the traditional hot dog kids meal. Definitely a hidden gem.

I went to the HD for the first time, and I was very surprised by the Philly cheesesteak made by Charlie. I lived in Brooklyn New York, and it seriously better than any cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my life. The other thing that I like about this bar is the vibe that the Artist brought here.

The best hidden spot in Breckenridge!!! Brad, the owner, is super personable and a great conversation. Food is amazing and not overpriced like the rest of Breckenridge. 20 out of 10!!! Make this a stop on your visit to Breckenridge!!!

Great bar in the middle of downtown Breckenridge. Casual vibe and fresh cooked food. Chicago style hot dog was top notch. Good selection of adult beverages. Friendly service, too! Highly recommended for a quick and relatively cheap bite in an otherwise expensive ski town. We will be back!

Freshly prepared gyro and cheesesteak were very good - great flavor and cool, local atmosphere. Bar seating, 4-5 tables inside and 3-4 others on patio. Great option on Main Street - I bet it turns into fun nighttime venue.

This place is a hidden gem in the town of Breckenridge. Definitely a more local spot than a lot of stuff in town, and was a nice breath of fresh air to experience real life rather than just be stuck in a tourist trap. The food was phenomenal and was very affordable. The cheese steak was delicious, and was the best one I've ever had in my life, which surprised me as I have lived in Philadelphia for a few years. Definitely stop in to HD Tavern if you are in the area!

Best bar and food in Breckenridge in my opinion. We visited with my daughter and wife and rented equipment and hung out most of the week over Christmas, and I am NOT EVEN a Bears fan! LOL. Brad & Julian are the best. The most inexpensive food in the city. Sure, nothing fancy, but the Gyro, Burgers, and Dogs were cooked to perfection. Fries are better than any fast food place out there! It is tiny inside but that is what makes it so cool. Originally from WI I love these kind of places that remind me of the small neighborhood bar. The clientele is heavily local, which gives it its charm and don't forget to spin the wheel but be warned, there is a buy shot for the bar! LOL again. This will be my go to place next time here.
