Iron Skillet

We had a great meal. Had the traditional breakfast. It was cooked fresh and my over medium eggs were just right (which is not the case at other places). The service was very good and friendly too. I’ll come back again when traveling.

This is an excellent stop for road trippers like us! Really enjoyed our meal and had excellent service. If we're ever passing through again we will definitely stop!

Great meal! Both mine and my wife's food was great! I had the Cajun burger but there was nothing Cajun about it although it was delicious.
Service was pretty good. Price was fair.
I was going to try the buffet but the food did not look fresh and the price is way too high for the small selection of items they offer.

Nice little stop for those on the road. Also a local favorite. Menu changes over the years but good is always decent. Comfort foods is what you'll find here. Decent menu selection.

Our waitress, Tonya was so sweet and attentive. Food was good and came out quick! Would recommend

Staff was nice, attentive, and just down home kind. A great stop after driving a ton of miles. Food was good, although BBQ sauce was missing? It was delishous.

The iron Skillet off i-40, at the Petro in Milan, NM, HAS THE BEST FOOD!!? WE HAD THE ULTIMATE NACHOS, TEXAS SIZED SMOTHERED STEER BURGER W/ LOADED CHEESY CASSEROLE AND SOUP, CHICKEN ENCHILADA,...IT WAS ALL AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VISIT!! YOUR STOMACH WILL THANK ME!!! LOL

This stop was an unexpected pleasure! We were looking for a late breakfast stop. It was very busy, but we got a table right away. The wait after ordering was a bit long, but our food was awesome! Our server was super pleasant and kept our drinks up while we waited. My husband got breakfast, and I ended up getting a club sandwich. Neither of us could finish our very full (and delicious) plates.
The sense of community here was very strong, and all the friendly greetings around made you appreciate it!

1st timer and Briana the server went above and beyond on service. She was very patient with my order and even corrected one of the dishes that was made wrong.

Great place in the middle of nowhere… got the one pound Texas smothered burger with baked potato! It was delicious! Down with a glass of milk (fresh) and for desert bake apple something lol! Great service and the place was quiet and clean!

The quality and tastiness of the salmon surprised me given the location (so far from shore, normally fish would be frozen and rubbery) but it was excellent, we even got an extra order of the mashed potatoes.

Stopped to fill up and decided to grab lunch. We ordered to go and service was friendly and quick. The club sandwich and tater tots were delicious and fresh tasting. Great stop!

The food here is absolutely fantastic! Delicious comfort food, cozy environment, welcoming waitress and absurdly great prices! You definitely get a bang for your buck here. Our waitress Samantha did an phenomenal job taking our order. Although she didn't write anything down, everything came out perfect, even with our substitutions and special request. I highey suggest the "Longhaul Breakfast" it comes with a little bit of everything and is the perfect amount to fill any hungry traveler.
