Montana Whitewater Rafting & Zipline - Gallatin

Amazing experience. Did the half day more challenging Gallatin River run, our guide was Gavin Cooper and he was simply amazing, kept us all safe and made you feel confident on the river. Highly recommend this place. Get out there!

We booked a private boat for a family friendly "less challenging" whitewater trip as we had 2 young kids (ages 6 and 7) coming along. The river is high this time of year so it was a lot faster and rougher than expected. They put us with a senior guide, Robert and he was awesome! He gave clear instructions, and the kids were screaming with excitement (thankfully the photos confirmed this) the whole time. From booking the trip, getting outfitted with all the gear, drop off/pickup, etc....it was all super organized and easy! We all had a great time, felt completely safe and would highly recommend Montana Whitewater!

We had a great time rafting with Montana Whitewater! Our guide Cameron was friendly, easy going, and very knowledgeable. The staff walk you through everything you'll need for the trip and they provide all the gear, which is included in the fee. We had fantastic weather (I don't think Montana Whitewater can take credit for that, lol) and a really fun crew on our trip down the Gallatin. The youngest in our group was 8 and the oldest was a grandpa and we all had a great time! Definitely a must do experience at least once while on your Montana adventures!

We had an amazing trip down the Gallatin River with Montana Whitewater today! Amazing views and the rapids were an absolute blast. Our guide Barbo was a serious pro at what he does and kept us safe and very entertained! He was hilarious and also a wealth of knowledge about the area. We couldn’t have been happier. A cool adventure. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience. My wife did not want to go but was glad she did after. The views were breathtaking and Julianna was a great guide. Would definitely do this one again next time we are in town.

First off I hate heights more than anything but, I had a great time still. My wife loved every minute.
The zips were amazing and had great scenery especially the ones that went over the river.
The guides were really funny and kept everything light hearted which is what I needed so big thanks to Sean and kayden or k money. I believe that was their names.

We were fortunate enough to be able to book in on the same day for White water rafting. Our guide was Gareth and he did an amazing job with us (2 adults and 2 children).

It was so hot outside that it was a great pleasure by each boy to be dunked in the water where it was calm.

Gareth was very effective at mitigating any dangers that we could have faced, especially with young children. At no point did any of us feel overwhelmed for our levels.

We found all of the rest of the staff to be friendly and more than willing to assist us with anything that we needed.

We highly recommend families to come here and enjoy the nature of the river.

My teen boys and I went on our very first river rafting trip, and MWW did not disappoint. The weather had been really fickle in the days leading up to the trip, and I was afraid it would be too cold for us, being from Texas. But MWW provided wetsuits, booties for our feet, helmets, and splash jackets. Be sure to wear a non-cotton layer under the wetsuit and bring a puffer jacket to wear over the wetsuit and under the splash jacket. The only part of me that was cold were my feet and hands, but that is to be expected when the weather temp is in the 40s. Mitch was our guide and also acted as resident historian and naturalist, easily answering all our questions about the area and wildlife. His instructions were clear, no one fell out of the raft, and we all had fun. Since it was cold (we went in late May), we chose to do the less challenging route, avoiding the "Mad Mile." It was a good balance of easy floating down the river and active paddling through splashy but not scary rapids. If we get to visit Montana again (preferably later in the season when the weather is warmer), we will do the more challenging route. Thanks, MWW, for a great day on the river! Also, I purchased the photo package at the end of the trip and they turned out great!

Top notch organization! The entire staff worked together to make it a fantastic experience! Very
knowledgeable and safety was a top priority. It was our first time ever whitewater rafting & will be a memory we will cherish forever! I highly recommend them! Shout out to our guide, Tom who made us feel comfortable, was a pleasure to listen to his knowledge of the area & his expertise!

Great time! Every single person we interacted with really seemed to love what they do

We did the less challenging white water rafting with our 7 year old. Henry was our guide and kept us entertained in the calm water and in the action during rapids

We also did a zip line with Kaiden and Chase (Chance?). These guys were amazing. Kaiden had our son attached to him for the zips, and he was incredibly patient. Our son was TERRIFIED in the beginning, but by the end he was laughing

We had an awesome experience! Our guide Elizabeth was fun and knowledgeable…she made us comfortable throughout. My family has 2 non swimmers but we all felt safe and had a great time out at the river! Definitely give it a try if you are in the area…it’s an experience to remember :)

Our family of 5 (18+) had an awesome time. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Tommy was our guide, very knowledgeable and was crucial in us having such a great experience! Not at any point did we fear our safety. The MWW crew was quick and efficient in getting everyone gear and detailed in reviewing safety measures. We would definitely all go again!

Experience of a lifetime!
We did Whitewater rafting in the Galatin ( guide Ingram ; level 3/4) - it was a blast .
Zip lined on the Galatin after the rafting- everything was super except the braking mechanism of the first zip could result in a little whip lash. Brandon was very very good - thoroughly enjoyed the experience

We had a great trip with Julia. It was exactly what we wanted. We did the class IV rapids and our guide did a wonderful job guiding us through them. We even got to see all the guides work together when another raft flipped. The crew was fast acting and very professional. They helped everyone get out safely. I was very impressed! Would highly recommend this company.

I booked a rafting trip for myself and my family members during their visit to Bozeman. I was unfortunately not feeling well and couldn’t go but they allowed my mom to take my place. Everyone was nervous as they had no experience in anything like this before but had a blast! They raved about how fun it was and how kind the guide was. He really made them feel safe and gave plenty of instructions so everyone was on the same page. Looking forward to going myself next time.

Fantastic Family Fun Day for 6 (ages 11-47). Highly recommend the Zip & Dip package. Perfect introduction of both activities leaving my kids wanting more, "next time can we do class 4 rapids and the 6 bridge zip". Thank you to the staff for unforgettable experience for our family.

Our first time zip lining. Did the Classic and happy we did. Anna and Joey are great guides. The landing is easier and gentler than it looks! Fantastic views over the Gallatin River.

We had a great time on our Montana White Water Rafting trip. Jaycee was our guide and she was fantastic. I would highly recommend this rafting company for your Yellowstone trip.
