Great experience. We were able to join a tour group and take an all terrain vehicle out to the wild horses. According to the guide, the Bureau of Land Management gathers the horses from the wild and allows this facility to care for them and to offer some of the horses for adoption. Really enjoyed learning about the different types of horses. Highly recommend.

Very nice working ranch that has really interesting and informative people doing the tours. This is an awesome place to visit and learn and have fun doing it. Our guide was very friendly and answered any questions we had. It’s so nice to see people that actually enjoy what they are doing, it shows. Thank you for the opportunity to see this up close. Our young lady awesome, didn’t catch her name.

At the small visitor, there is alot of information about how the horse came to North America, and about the use of horses by Indigenous people. Lots of interesting information. We took an ATV tour of the property. Our tour guide was very informative and we were in amongst the horses. This sanctuary takes horses that are overpopulating BLM lands with wild herds. They are well cared for but still are wild horses, afraid of human interaction. Horses may be adopted through an application process. We were so impressed with how healthy and beautiful these wild horses are. A wonderful tour. We learned a lot and loved seeing these gorgeous animals up close!!

Odessa gave us a great tour and was very informative about everything from the care of the horses, to raising cattle, to the use of public lands. We got to ride out amidst the wild horses and just observe them up close.
Well worth a visit and supporting the cause.

We had an amazing time! Our tour guide was really nice and she answered all of our questions. Walk ins are welcome but I feel like making a reservation would be easier on the staff although we had no problems. Definitely family friendly and highly recommend!

LOVED visiting this horse sanctuary. MUST DO if you are in the area!! The guide was a very friendly, welcoming and informative expert. She clearly has good rapport with the horses because they really did flock around her! Thoroughly enjoyed the green pasture with the mountains in the background, and soaking up the beautiful horses and their wild spirits. Truly spoke to my soul, and I look forward to visiting again. Can’t say enough good things about this experience!

Excellent tour from Jess Oldham, one of the family members. Nice, interesting guy. Took 1-hour ATV tour to see the mustangs up close and personal. Learned a lot about wild horses and life in the area from someone who grew up there. Definitely worth your time! 🐴

Wyoming's best kept secret. A must-visit for anyone that loves horses, and animals in general. They are kindly cared for, happy and free. And Odessa, our guide for the day, was amazing on all levels. Recommending to everyone I know <3 Thanks for such a wonderful time.

We did not have time for a tour so only saw horses from a distance. But the operator was willing to let us sign up for a leaving tour at last minute if we wanted. They are doing a great thing taking care of these magnificent animals!

Odessa was fantastic. My family stopped by during our road trip across the US and it was a perfect little break. A lot of fun packed into 30-40 minutes.
