It's old, but the taste is legendary.

The place is not a fine dining date night kind of place, but hear me out: the food is as good as it gets. I tried panda express and chow time around here, but I would say China 1 has got it right when it comes to authentic chinese cooking. Imagine yourself traveling to China and eating great grandmother's cooking. That's what you'll get. None of the messy fancy chemicals, but just the pure spices and the ingredients coming through.

I stopped by on Wednesday at 1148 and I was done with my food by 1220. I ordered the fried rice with chicken wings which came out to $9. Which is cheaper than Mc Donalds or any fastfood meal deal. I believe I got 7-8 fried pieces with a generous amount of fried rice. The container was packed to the full. The Chicken was marinated to perfection, and the golden crisp of the skin was not overly breaded nor soggy. It was a delight to bite into the crunchiness of the skin and into the juicy chicken meat. The fried rice was also easy to enjoy because it wasn't sticky and it also wasn't too salty. The rice went together perfectly with the chicken.

It's impossible to get a decent meal for $9 these days, but China 1 is doing it right.

Great service and great food. I’m so glad we come here weekly if not bi weekly. I know it’s a little weird to come to a Chinese restaurant to order fried chicken but that’s what I get with fried rice. It’s amazing. Don’t forget to try their crab Rangoons— literally the best. If you see reviews about their food is bland, etc. I’m sure they’re just upset because prices everywhere. Not just that one is going up but it’s the whole world. We know the owners and their absolutely wonderful people and very sweet! Give them a try.

This is by far the best Chinese in all of Panama city for 100 miles. i didn't care to eat Chinese till my wife brought this home.

China 1 has great Chinese food. It's worth the wait for it to be prepared fresh. The cheese wontons (Crab Rangoon) were delicious. It pays to ask questions, as I've just been assuming they didn't have Crab Rangoon, it's just labeled cheese wontons!

This is the go-to place for Chinese take out. THE BEST egg rolls I have ever eaten. This place is consistently a 9/10. Flavorful, good portion for cost, and always fresh. If you haven't tried it, you should.

Honestly a hole in the wall. Came in when they were dead and was surprised beyond belief. Food was fresh, hot, and ready quickly One of the best Asian takeout places in the area!! I definitely fw them again.
Oh yeah and when you go, get the teriyaki chicken with the lomein and egg rolls on the side (egg rolls were super crispy)

My family and I have always ordered our Chinese food from China One. Now my wife and I would never trust another Chinese restaurant other than China One. Never a bad meal with them and the price is reasonable.The most friendly and authentic Chinese restaurant in town. I would give them more stars but 5 is all I can.

Food is cooked to order. Always hot with big portions. I love the warm greeting I get every time I go in and of course everything I’ve ordered is delicious.

The food here is great.The prices are pretty decent for the amount that you get. The people that own and run the place are nice.

Looks to be family owned. The lady is so nice that takes your order. Food is delicious and always hot! Very affordable lunch specials start at just 5.99 for fried rice and an entre. Very generous portions.
